ISSA ANUSHK POV :

"Do you think I did the right thing,Gracie? Trying to bring her closer to me by asking dad to permit her to join my hotel." I asked Grace,doubting myself while driving off to drop her home.

"I dunno...Anush.." Gracie pressed her lips into a thin line as she looked away.

"Arghh.....Gracie, I think i'm in love with Aniee. All these years, darkness had engulfed me. But the day i saw her, there were surge of emotions which were rushing through me and i felt alive once again.It felt like a huge part of me just returned back.."

Gracie smiled at me weakly, probably she was just too tired off working all day.
"I think you did the right thing.. Anush..."

"Really?" I popped my head at her side in excitement to look at her. She nodded silently. " I just want to stay close to her and get to know her even better. I didn't know anything else to do except this. To make Anie work under the roof as I am in. And moreover the ball is now in my court. My dad can never afford to win over me from now on. He is forced to lose." I say in a victorious tone.

Gracie gave me a smile and nodded in appreciation but still her eyes didn't meet mine. I could realise that I was the only one talking cause my emotions were being stirred and honestly, I'm eagerly waiting for Aniee to join along but Gracie hasn't met her, so she won't be exactly knowing why I'm excited. Maybe once Gracie gets to know Aniee well, she will also love her.

When I stopped at her place. She gave me her small smile. "Thankyou..."

"My pleasure Gracie. And hey, I'm sure you will love Anie when all the three of us work under the same roof... And mind you,she is a very talented girl that she can challenge your position of an executive chef as well." I teased and winked at her while saying. "Arghh...after all she is the only one who cares and loves me.." I sighed. "Anyways, I don't wanna burden you with my story. You get yourself crashed in bed. I'll see ya tomorrow."

"Bye Anush.." She waved at me and I drove off.

GRACE POV :

"Bye Anush.." I wave at him and he drove off along with the winds. "And...b-but... I love you, Issa Anushk. I love you from the bottom of my heart..." I sighed deeply while saying that to no one except myself and headed off to my apartment with a huge disappointment.

I lay on my bed with my hands behind my head which is now providing the role of a pillow. What does he see in Anastasia that he hasn't seen in me,all these years?? Do I look less attractive to him?? I've worked really hard to get my rightful place as an executive chef only to let him notice me from the group. And all these years when Anastasia wasn't around...I was the one to be with him, travelling to each and every country possible cause I was, one of the best of the lot which Joseph picked who were asked to accompany them to countries where he could make profit.
I managed to somehow break Anushk's shell when he occasionally gave a visit to his dad's hotel to make myself his friend. But later on, he took interest in me and we sure did pull it off as good friends...but why isn't he trying to see me more than just a good buddy?

My mobile blinked a few times. I opened to check it out. It was a message from Ana!! I was more than elevated to see her name on my mobile.
