31: Clary what in the hell was that?

"You cannot be serious, Clary." I said.

Meliorn's idea of a gift was to open a portal to get us to Valentine.

"What if you're trapped in there forever?" I asked, I hold her hands together.

"I'll be fine. I just need to focus so that I wouldn't forget who I am in that dimension." She said and I sighed deeply. She walked over to Meliorn. "I'll agree to go alone but if I find this alternate Portal, I won't be able to face Valentine on my own."

"She'll need backup." Jace said, and Meliorn nodded his head. Clary was about to go but Jace kissed her. "Be careful." He said and Clary nodded her head.

As she went through the portal, I stepped on something. It was the portal shard. "Uh, guys?" I took the necklace and put it up.

"What? How-"

"If she doesn't have the portal shard with her, she will be stuck in there forever." Meliorn said and I widened my eyes.

"What?" I shouted. "N-no.. No Meliorn you have to let me in!" I pleaded.

"Val it's dangerous out there," Jace stopped me from walking through the portal.

"Jace. My sister is going to be trapped in the other dimension and I have the way to not let that happen." I looked at the blonde boy. "Meliorn. Let me in."

Meliorn looked at me before granting me an entrance. "Be careful, Valerie." He said and I nodded my head. I squeezed onto the the necklace.

I was turning up the volume on my earphones loudly. G-Eazy was playing out loud. I was making some breakfast for my family. I had a little dance, before I felt my head becomes heavy. I groaned, then I realized that I was from the other dimension.

"Valerie!" I heard a manly voice called my name. I turned around and saw Valentine. I was about to say something but Clary ran up to him with a knife, he laughed.

"Whoa. Is this from one of your cosplay skits?" Valentine asked which made me raise my brow.

"Uh, honey? Come in here. You gotta see this. No, seriously, you have to let me come with you, just once, okay? I want to see what
you do at these things, all right?" He added.

"Val, you're not allowed to do cosplay. You'd stick out like a sore thumb." Jocelyn said and my eyes widened as soon as she appears in the room.

"Mom!" Clary went to hug her mom.

"Wow, if you miss us this much, you should really leave the dorm more often."

"Right. Sorry." Clary said, sitting down on the table.

"Honor of your father's Mad Hatter party tonight." Jocelyn said and Valentine laughed.

"Hey Valerie, come here. Your mom made waffles for you and your sister." Valentine looked at me.

"M-mom?.." I trailed off. What in the hell.

"Come on honey, I made them without almond milk this time." Jocelyn walked over to me and grabs my hand, then leads me to the table.
