Alec, Izzy and I arrived at the police station. We saw an ID on a woman's desk.

"We need that ID to get through the back." Izzy grinned.

"Okay, I'm guessing you're the distraction?" Alec asked, looking at his sister.

"Nope. I've decided to grow up, remember? No more distracting for me." Izzy sighed.
"Besides, I don't think I'm her type."

"Oh, crap." Alec started to adjust his clothes and I chuckled.

"Don't worry, it's good practice."

"Huh?"

"You know, for.. You know." She smirked at him and he looks away.

"What are you what are you doing?" Alec looked at his sister who was unbuttoning his shirt.

"Unbuttoning your shirt.
What's it look like I'm doing?" Izzy smiled before she land her eyes on the officer lady who was getting up from her seat. A male officer is now sitting at the table. "Shit, shift switch huh?" She cursed.

"Don't worry, I got this." I said, before I untied some of the ribbon on the sides of my top. The siblings looked at me, watching my every moves.

I catwalked towards the front desk. As I stood in front of the desk, the man noticed. Thank goodness he was in his twenties. From the way he handle things on his desk, he was a new officer.

"Hey," I said before forming a grin.

"H-hey, what can I-I do for you?" He stammered and I chuckled at it making him smile.

"Yeah, I uh.. I really really need to see someone, but people seemed to turn me down." I frowned.

"I-I'll help, anything I-"

"Really? Aw thanks." I said, forming the smile again. I noticed that his ID card was nowhere to be found. "Could you do me a favor.."

"Peter, I-I'm Peter." He smiled shyly before taking out his ID. He put his ID next to my hand.

I then accidentally poured water all over his desk. "Oh God.. I'm so so sorry, I'm such a clutz-"

"No, no it's totally find Miss, it's not your fault, it's mine. I left that bottle uncapped." He smiled and while he was talking I grabbed the ID card and threw it to Izzy, she caught it flawlessly.

"Haha, alright." I said before walking away.

"M-miss? Thought you needed my help?" He cocked his head out. "Will I ever see you again?"

I chuckled. "Perhaps, Peter." I laughed before meeting the siblings at the back.

"That was hot." Izzy said and I laughed. "He's quite cute though." She added.

"Yeah." I said and Alec darted his eyes at us. "But I've never really into blondes." I added and Izzy smirked.

After we've done our tasks, we went outside of the building. The alarm was pounding, and there were police cars everywhere. I stood against a fence with my arms crossed. Shit, it was cold as shit.

I sighed before looking at the siblings, who were talking, then in the corner of my eyes, I saw someone. It was the same Shadowhunter guy. Without any hesitation, I walked towards the guy.

"Val?" I heard Izzy called my name. "Val what are you doing?" I ignored Izzy and kept walking.

I've seen him before, but where?

But again, he disappeared.

I sighed in annoyance, I turned around and saw Clary and Jace.

"Did you get it?" Alec asked Clary.

"Theoretically." Clary breathed out.

"Theoretically?"

"Yeah." She sighed. "I found the card. I just have to figure out how I reached into my notebook before."

"Can't you just pull the Cup out?"

"I can, theoretically.
I just It's not as easy as it looks, Alec."

"Guys. I think the mundanes might be the least of our worries." Izzy said, referring to her pulsing necklace.

"C'mon, let's go." Jace ordered.

"Guys, slow down- Oh, I am so sorry!" I turned my back and saw Clary bumped into an elderly woman.

Then the woman growls, shapeshifters. Geez, they're literally everywhere.

"Grandma." Jace said. He used his blade and stabbed it to death.

"What the hell?"

"Language. Not in front of Grandma." Jace said.

"Let's go, this way!" We ran through the stairs, Clary was asking about what the unlock rune was, I was about to draw it on the door but Jace banged the hell out of the door.

"Open sesame. Go." Jace said. We walked towards another entrance, but Alec stopped walking. "What are you doing? Alec come on-"

"Holding them off. Take Clary and Valerie back to the Institute." He grabbed his bow and arrow.

"No, if you're staying, I'm staying.
We fight together-"

"I know you guys are having a moment, okay? But we really have to go." Clary interrupted. Jace sighed deeply before joining us. I took a last glimpse of Alec who was fighting the demons alone. I furrowed my brows together before turning lanes.

One of them was about to attack Alec from the back, but I cut them in two using my blade. Alec turned around and was surprise to see me. "What's with the face? Am I not invited to your little party?" I smirked in which he returned.
