39: You've done your mission, my little princess

I was talking with Magnus, he was telling me all these stories about my mom.

"The Morgensterns and the Lightwoods weren't good allies till this day. But, since you and Valentine are the only Morgensterns left, they aren't much to gossip about." Magnus said and I sighed.

"Does that mean I've triggered the Lightwoods? You know, by being with Alec?" I asked as I crossed my arms together.

"We'll see about that." He said and I leaned back towards the wall. Not for long, I saw Alec coming in our way.

"Hey, how was it?.." I asked.

"I'll make it easier for you, on a scale of one to ten how unpleasant was it?" Magnus asked.

"Off the charts. I've never seen them so angry." Alec said.

"Just give them some time? After all, I did crashed your wedding." I said.

"Yeah," He chuckled. "But after what I did, I don't think they'll ever forgive me." Alec said and I bite the inside of my cheek, not knowing what to say.

"Don't underestimate a parent's love." Magnus said.

"You don't regret it, do you?" I asked Alec.

"No of course I don't. Everything just happened so fast. I didn't have time to think." He sighed. "I'm looking for Lydia, I owe her so much."

"We owe her," I said and he nodded in agreement.

"What she did was nothing short of heroic." Magnus said. It was silence for awhile since none of us didn't know what to say. "Okay someone needs to say something because the tension is quite stiff."

Way to go Magnus.

"Look, Alec, maybe we can slow things down?" I walked towards him. "Why don't we start with that date you owe me?" I smiled and he mirrored it.

"Yeah, let's do that." He smiled. After that, he opens a door. And as soon as he opened the door, he rushes in. "Lydia!" He said. Magnus checked her pulse and nods his head signaling that she was still alive.

"Go get help!" I said and Magnus left the room.

"You're gonna be okay."

"Is she gonna be alright?" I asked Magnus who was taking care of her.

"She will, patience my dear." He said. After waiting a couple of minutes, Ethan came in.

"Val we need you," He said. He and I went to the others who were watching the monitor. "That's Hodge."

Hodge attacked Lydia, and she fell down to the floor. It seemed that Hodge was talking to someone, they had a good amount of conversation before that person walks and the camera got them.

That someone, was me.

I saw myself taking the Cup before giving it to Hodge, Hodge gave me a ring and I put it on. Then, a hologram of Valentine appeared.

"You've done your mission, my little princess. Now, let's head back, come to me." Valentine said and I nodded my head.
