AUTHOR'S NOTE: I know you guys are thinking "Whoa, she's on a roll today with these back to back updates!" Lmao. I'm so sorry if I'm annoying you or blowing up you guys phones/what ever you use on here. It's just that...I AM SO DARN BORED! 😩😭😭. So I figure, "Why not write some more?" 😁. Besides, I'm having so much fun introducing these new characters and getting to know them myself as I'm writing their POV's 😊. Now, enough with all of the interruptions you may enjoy the new chapter! The next day I open my reddish brown eyes with a yawn. I look over to my right seeing my parents still asleep. I look over to my left seeing my brother Makosa still sleeping too upside down with droll coming out of his mouth.

Ew!

I got up with a stretch then ran outside the cave. I stand at the very top of Pride Rock seeing the whole kingdom. Mom is right, it is beautiful! The sun is just now rising.

Yes, I'm not too late!

I sit down alone and smile watching the sun rise. This is something I have always enjoyed doing every single morning.

"Heri?" A voice call.

I look over my shoulder and see mom walking forward.

"Oh, hi mom!"

She joins me and sat down with a yawn. "Watching the sunrise again huh, kiddo?"

I nod. "Yeah! It's over now you missed it again."

Mom roll her eyes with a chuckle. "Don't I always?"

I climb up on her back then made my way above her head smiling. She giggle and purr.

"I figure you two would be out here watching the sunrise together."

I look behind me seeing dad and Makosa walking towards us. Makosa runs up and pounce on mom causing her to fall over including myself. Mom laughs while Makosa playfully bit her ear. I stand up with a growl and tackle him helping mom in the process.

"I got your back mom!" I say.

Mom stands up and join dad's side watching Makosa and I wrestle each other around.

"Don't play too rough!" Dad warned.

Mom laughed. "Oh Kovu, their just being boys. My brother and I use to do that all the time growing up."

"I know Kiara but, they still can get hurt with their teeth or claws. Someone can easily scratch an eye out or bit someone too hard!"

"Non-sense! They're still children."

"Ouch!!" I yell.

Dad rush over. "What happened?"

"Makosa bit my tail too hard!"

Makosa released my tail out of his mouth and made an innocent smile. "It was only an accident dad. I didn't mean to. I was just having fun!"

"Try to be more careful Makosa. You could've injured your brother."

"Okay dad..."
