The Lion King 3: Current Events

Still Here

Last night...

You thought I really left the land after that King earlier told me to leave? Ha! You thought wrong. I know, I'm going to soon find myself killed for disobeying the rules and blah blah. If I keep myself hidden from all the animals here then I should find.

This place has a great food and water source. I've never seen anything like it! It's so...so...beautiful and free here. Plenty of life everywhere! This would be a great place to call home. But obviously i am not welcome. I'm only staying for an extra night then it's time to move out.

I was about to hunt me a midnight snack until...

"Who's there?" Said a voice.

I stop moving in the bushes. Someone else is here. Maybe it's the King again! I let out growl.

"Alright, enough with the games. You either come out or I find you myself." Said the voice.

Okay, that's definitely not how the King sounded. Perhaps, maybe someone else...

I step out of the bushes to see a male lion. He has cream fur, salmon nose, green eyes, and a brown mane.

He crouch down growling showing teeth and claws. "Who are you trespasser?"

"Trespasser? Pfft, please." I said, rolling my grey colored eyes.

"I'm not going to ask you again. Who are you and where did you come from? If you don't tell me I'll go get the King."

"Calm down! I'd already met with the King earlier. I was just leaving now..."

He frowns. "Good."

I frown back at him and walk pass heading for the land's exit. He watched me until I was full out of sight.

Strange...

It felt odd. Like I've met that lion before but I don't where....

Hmmm...

Anyways, I continue walking to I don't know where. I've found myself in an empty land covered in dirt and dust. No life could be living here. Probably just animals who come and go. I guess I could sleep here only for tonight.

I'll be back there to that place tomorrow...

Late Morning, current day...

I had just caught me a zebra. I quickly are my prize before any one could find me back here again. Then suddenly I heard screams.

"Aaaaaah!!!"

What the hell?

I stop eating and stood up twitching my ears.

"Hyenas, hyenas!!"

Sounds like somebody is in trouble. I left my half eaten prey for the vultures to finish and ran to the direction of the voices. It led me inside the Grasslands. I stop running to catch my breath and walk through the very tall grass.

"Get back here you cubs!!" Said another voice.

Then I heard barking.

They're close...

I let out a snarl and pounce into the air surprising two hyenas. They were running and came to a halt.  Two small Cubs hide behind me. I look down at them.

"Don't worry guys, your safe now." I told them.

They both nod, still shaking with fear.

I roar at the hyenas.

"You two should be ashamed of yourselves trying to attack these two adorable Cubs."

The brown hyena frowned. "Hey miss, we were just doing our job!"

The spotted hyena nodded. "Yeah, our boss sent us out here to kill cubs. If we don't, we can't come back home."

"Oh well then. Guess you have to find some other place to go because I'm not letting you hurt them while I'm here."

"Are you asking for a fight?"

I crouch down extending my claws. "Bring it!"

Both of the hyenas pounce on my back. One bit me while the other scratched.

"Ahh!"

"Giving up already lioness?" The brown one smirked.

"Never!" I growl.

I smack him off me while the other held on. The two Cubs watched.

"RAAAAAWWWRRRR!!!"

Another lion? Great...

It's the King and behind him are more lions. Must be his pride...

The lionesses help fight off the hyenas. The hyenas ran away with their tails between their back legs. I stood up thanking them.

"I thought I told you to never come back!" The King growls.

"Grandpa, it's okay! This lioness saved me and Bahiya's lives." Said one of the cubs.

"What?"

"It's true!" Nodded the other cub. "She tried fighting them off."

"Hmm, is that so?"

I bow down. "Your majesty, I heard the cubs cries and couldn't help but to rescue them. I knew they would be goners if I didn't do anything."

The King stared at me while the lionesses whispered to each other.

"Father, she did save my son. I say we give her something back in return." Said a lioness with light peach-ish fur, steps forward beside the King.

"I don't know about this one..." The King says, squinting his eyes at me. "I told you to leave yesterday and you still stayed. You disobeyed me!"

I frowned. "Well, if I did those cubs wouldn't even be here! You guys wouldn't have made it on time. Those hyenas were too close making those Cubs their lunch."

"Simba, she's right." Said another lioness. This is one indeed is gorgeous. She has cream fur with teal colored eyes.

The King closed his eyes exhaling out his breath.

"Alright fine. What would you like?"

I snort and grin. "Nothing. I'm leaving this place for real this time. You lions are something else!"

I turn around walking away.

"Wait, can I at least get your name!" The peach-ish fur lioness called.

I look over my shoulder. "Zawadi."

"Thank you for saving my son!"

With that I left the scene.
