New Beginnings

*NO ONE'S POV*

As many months went pass, the day has finally come for Nala and Simba. It's early morning. Nala is ready to give birth. Simba quickly went to go fetch Rafiki while Nala stayed in a separate den from Pride Rock (you know, just for some privacy).

Her sister Neera stayed with her. But little did they know, Kiara was at Pride Rock also about to give birth too. She was offered a private den, but she figured she wouldn't make it there in time. So instead, she stayed in the pride's cave. Everyone had to exit of course for privacy purposes. Two lionesses giving birth at once? This is going to be tough for Rafiki! He may need back up.

So he brought his daughter Amwa for assistance. Amwa has been training for a year now with her father to become the next shaman. Rafiki is getting very old now. He's more slow and out of breath. His time soon will be up. That's why he's moving quickly to teach his daughter everything he knows. She seems to be a fast learner. There may be hope!

"Amwa, I want you to take this and go help Kiara at Pride Rock. I'll stay here and help Nala. This will be your first real task! Remember everything I taught you?" Said Rafiki, handing Amwa a turtle shell filled with items like water, clay, and fruit.

Amwa nod her head and took the shell. "Yes father."

"Go on now, hurry!"

Amwa rush over to Pride Rock. Rafiki turn around and went inside the den with Simba to check on Nala. Neera is laying close beside her.

"That's it sis, inhale exhale." She cooed.

Nala did as told while squeezing Neera's paw.

"Aaaaah! It's coming!!" She yelled.

Rafiki nod his head at Simba with a smile. "It is time."

Simba smiled back then exit out the den to let Rafiki do his work. He sat outside patiently. He hope things turn out to be okay with both his wife and daughter. It's crazy how they're giving birth at the same exact time!

"Amwa, I'm scared!" Kiara panicked.

Amwa rub her hand against Kiara's right cheek and smiled. "Don't be Princess. It's your first birth. This will be a time you won't ever forget and also a great blessing! It's going to go quick I promise. Just inhale exhale."

Kiara did as told. She breathe in and out. It seem to calm her.

"That's it." Amwa nod.

Kiara kept going then suddenly..."AAAH! It's coming I think!!"

Amwa admittedly went to work. She remembered everything Rafiki had taught her step by step.

"Mew, mew, mew, mew!"

Neera's eyes widen. "Oh my gosh..."

"What? What is it?? Is there something wrong???" Nala asked, sort of panicking.

Rafiki shook his head chuckling. He picked up the cub and brought it over to Nala for her to see. "No my Queen. Take a look!"
