"Kopa what are you doing? We're not suppose to be here again." Said Chris.

"There's something here..." I said.

Kam looks puzzled. "Like what?"

I walk further inside the Pride Lands. Chris pulls my tail.

"Don't! Your asking for trouble."

"Fine. You two stay here and I'll go on my own."

"B-"

I run off leaving them. The wind starts to kick in, blowing my brown mane in every direction. All four of my paws touch on the soft green grass as I came to an sudden stop.

"No, I can't!" Said a feminine voice.

"Come on Vitani, this is your only chance to be a part of the hunting party. You can do this!" Said another.

"Fine."

"Yay!"

I squat down behind two large bushes. Two lionesses; one has light tan colored fur, electric blue eyes with dark circles around each, purple triangle nose, and a tuft of hair on her head. The second has bright orange fur, brownish red eyes, and nose pinkish colored. I watch them both walk over to a group of lionesses.

"Hello everyone!" The orange fur lioness announced.

"Greetings, Princess Kiara!" The group said in unison.

Princess? Hmm...

I move in closer, but quietly unnoticed.

"Vitani here will like to try to join you girls hunting party. Please give her a chance. She's really good!"

The light tan lioness stood close beside the Princess shyly. The lionesses looked at each other and huddle in a whisper. Then they face the Princess and her friend again this time with smiles.

"Yeah, she can try." One from the group said.

"Thank you. Go on Vitani! I'll be back in a few to check on how things are going." Said the Princess, leaving.

"Wait, Kiara don't leave me!" The lioness begs.

But it was too late. The Princess had already left. The lionesses circle around her.

"Since you USE to be an outsider, we'd like to see your skills of what you learned from there." Said a more taller older lioness. She must be the leader of the hunting party.

"Vitani" I think her name is, nodded her head.

"To start off, I want you to go over there and try to hunt down that hare. Hares are fast clever animals. Let's see if you have the right speed."

"Alright!"

Vitani walks slowly over to the hare. The hare is busy eating on grass not realizing that a large predator is close behind him. She crouch down low and growl eyeing her target.

I count to myself.
