Orbot felt his circuits tightening as he looked towards Dr.Eggman. "I don't know if I should ask him why he is so angry and glum. I'm afraid he might turn us into scrap metal," Orbot said worryingly to his co-henchman, Cubot. Cubot scratched his smooth, cube shaped head as he tried to understand what Orbot was talking about. "Ah! I don't want to be turned into scrap metal! Also, what do you mean angry and glum? His face always looks scrunched up like that," he responded, loudly. Orbot shushed him. Eggman looked towards the two robots and scowled harder, making Orbot even more uneasy.
"Grrrr," Eggman growled through his teeth. "Hey boss, what's wrong?" Cubot blurted out. "No, you Buffoon! He's not going to be pleased," Orbot said, cowering. Eggman growled again. He looked to the large screen to his left, which displayed a map of the world. He scowled harder. "Sir?" Orbot questioned in a concerned manner.
Suddenly, Eggman slammed his fists down on his armrests. "Argh!!! I was so close! I could've had the girl if only he wouldn't have discovered my plan to follow him!" Eggman called out. The two robots shrugged in question to each other. "Excuse me, but who discovered your plan?" Orbot asked. "Yeah and what plan was it again?" Cubot added, questionably. Orbot slapped his hand to his head in disbelief of his co-worker's stupidity. Eggman stood up and began pacing back and forth in front of the two.
"That traitorous rat, Nazo. He somehow must've found my tracking device I embedded into his shoes, then knowing that I was going to track him down. Then, at some  point he leaves it at Angel Island, just for me to find it and to throw me off track! Argh!" Eggman explained angrily, as he held up the chips that were embedded in Nazo's shoes. "I see. Well then, are you still planning to get the girl?" Orbot asked. Eggman stopped pacing and looked up at the huge screen in front of him. Before he could answer, Cubot started freaking out. "Wait, what girl?" Cubot then gasped, "Are you saying that Dr.Eggman is in love"!? Cubot started shouting and floating around the whole fortress freaking out over the thought.
Eggman and Orbot exchanged looks of utter disbelief of Cubot's stupidity. Eggman sighed. "I plan to, but how will I do it? He's far stronger than any of my robot armies. Without the tracker I can't know his location, knowing when he stays and when he leaves, which would've given me a chance to steal the girl. If I try to steal her without knowing if he's around, it'll be like walking on eggshells trying to get her," Eggman explained. Orbot nodded in agreement. Silence then filled the room.
"Hey boss, can I be the flower girl at the wedding? I've always wanted to throw the bouquet," Cubot shouted, startling Eggman. "Actually, that is the bride's job. The flower girl throws flower pedals on the ground, usually walking in front of the bride and groom," Orbot pointed out, lifting his pointer finger.
"ENOUGH!" Eggman yelled. Suddenly, the ongoings in the fortress was interrupted when Eggman's sensors picked up the signals of the X Tornado. "Sir, shall we follow them?" Orbot asked. Eggman evilly smirked. "Oh, no. Not me, but you two will," Eggman chuckled, as he began pushing his henchman into a room containing some mini planes. "Wow! We get to be spies?" Cubot asked, excitedly. "Yes, but if you fail me, it's the scrap yard for you two," Eggman warned. The robots coward, seated themselves, and took off towards the X Tornado to see what the heroes were up to.
