(Aubrie's POV)
Work, work and more work! That's all I ever do! Being a servant was never fun. I wish I were like Y/N, someone who could run fast, someone who could have lots of friends and more! Unfortunately I'm just an average human being, with nothing cool about me, working for several evil men. Thoughts like these continued to flood my mind as I swept the floor, as usual. I couldn't help but remember my promise to Y/N. I hadn't had the chance to hand out more Emeralds and I felt guilty for it. I was determined to do that very soon though, in order to fulfill my promise. I just had to escape for a few hours.
"AUBRIE! Get in here NOW!" Z commanded from down the hall. I rolled my eyes as a groan escaped my lips. "Coming!" I groaned out. After I finished sweeping, I walked to one of the lounges. "Yes oh great flapper lips I dare call a leader?" I said. Obviously he became agitated and wanted to smack me since he looked like he was about to get up to do so. He plopped back into his seat lazily and glared at me. After cussing at me he ran his fingers through his half black and red hair. "Call me flapper lips again AND YOU'LL BE PUNISHED! Now...I want you to clean the upstairs. Our gang will be pulling off a heist and if those rooms AREN'T clean, THEN YOU'LL BE PUNISHED FOR SURE!" He said with a growl. He forced himself up and huffed as he made his way out the door to go get the others.
After they all left, a smile suddenly formed across my face. "YES!" I exclaimed, my voice echoing through the many hallways in the base. I booked it up to my not so comfortable room and opened the closet. Setting on a dusty shelf was the case I had put the Chaos Emeralds in. There were four left but I thought I'd hand out three this time. I figured I should keep one in case Nazo gets the remaining Emeralds. I grabbed the colorful gems and threw them into a sack then made my way out of the base. I shut the front door behind me and went to retrieve my bike. I set off down the mountain, though it was tough terrain to ride on. "Please don't crash or fall!" I mumbled to myself. After all, if I were to have an accident, I may lose the Chaos Emeralds.
It took me over an hour but I finally reached the bottom of the mountain and headed off into different areas to pass out the Emeralds. I handed out the purple and blue one then searched for someone to hand the yellow one to. After about another hour, as I reached an area with a few temples in which I've never seen before, the yellow Emerald started pulsing so brightly I saw the intense glow coming from my shoulder bag. 'Is it trying to tell me something; like maybe where to go?' I thought. Suddenly I burst out laughing, thinking of how ridiculous sounding that was! "Who goes there?!" I heard and unfamiliar voice say. Immediately I stopped laughing and tried seeing who else was in the temple area.
"I sense a Chaos Emerald. Why do you have it?" The voice said again, even more serious now. Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me so I looked over my shoulder and saw a purple cat standing by a temple in a patch of grass. A short pink hedgehog also joined her and was holding a  giant hammer! After I froze at the sight of that hammer, I turned my bike around, pushed the bike stand down and walked over to them. "I was told to hand these out. If you guys are...good guys...I can give you guys this one," I said. The purple cat stayed quiet as she nodded. "Of course we're good! You can trust us! After all I am the girlfriend to the world'a fastest hedgehog alive, named Sonic!" The pink hedgehog said with a delighted sigh. The purple cat only seemed to stare at her without a word. With a slight inner laugh, I smiled and handed out my bag. "Alright! Then you can have it," I said. They looked pretty trustworthy to me, and since they knew the hero named Sonic, I was ok with giving the Emerald to them. Hopefully I was right. The purple cat reached out to take it from me and said thank you before walking off. "Thanks a lot!" The Hedgehog said as she lowered her hammer with a smile. She ran over to join her friend and I watched them go.
As I climbed onto my bike I suddenly realized how long I have been away from the base. "Oh no! No! No, no, no, no, no, NO!" I panicked. Quickly I made my way back toward the way I came, desperately hoping the gang wasn't back yet.

(Amy's POV)
We were so lucky to have a Chaos Emerald now! After all, now Eggman nor Nazo or anyone evil could have all the Emeralds in their possession to do their bidding. I looked over to see Blaze deep in thought as she held the bag with the Emerald close. Suddenly, it hit me just like that! "Blaze, I just realized something! Who told him to hand out those Emeralds? The only ones we know of who may try to collect them are Eggman and Nazo! What if Nazo had the Emeralds and Y/N had that boy hand them out or something?" I said, unable to contain my excitement. Blaze stopped in her tracks. "You may be right, Amy. Let's ask him before he leaves," she said calmly. I nodded in response  and turned around. Both of us were surprised to see he was gone! "Ooh! Now what?! We could've had a lead!" I said is great disappointment. Blaze sighed, as if she expected this misfortune. "We'll just have to keep searching on our own then," she said, continuing to walk in the direction we were headed. "I guess so," I sighed. With lowered ears, I followed Blaze as we continued on our hopeless journey. If only Sonic were here... he'd know what to do. I believe he would for sure.
