It's been a few days since Shadow's injury and now he was back up and running missions for GUN again, but something still bothered me about the incident with Shadow. The fact that the mysterious person could sneak up behind him and knock him out so easily, without him noticing. I tried to brush off the feeling but something still seemed off. I continued to think about Shadow until I noticed a blue blur had just sped past me. I knew it was Sonic.
Suddenly, before I could call for him, Sonic zoomed back towards me and stopped. "Hey, (y/n). Long time, no see," Sonic said cheerfully. I giggled at his common saying since we have just seen each other two days ago. "Hey, Sonic, what's up?" I asked. Suddenly, Sonic looked up in thought. He looked troubled, and I became uneasy. "Is something wrong?" I asked. Sonic then looked back to me.
Sonic sighed. "Hey, (y/n), do you...have any powers; like Shadow and Silver?" Sonic asked. I was a bit shocked and confused by his question. I shrugged. "Nope. I don't believe I do, but that'd be cool if I did. Why do you ask?" I replied. Sonic shook his head. "It's nothing. Say, would you like to go out for some chili dogs with me?" He asked. I beamed a smile and nodded my head up and down as I licked my lips.

"Why did I refuse Sonic's offer to walk me home? This shortcut is creepy at night," I thought to myself. I was all alone in a dark alley at night and all was quiet, until, CRACK! "Who goes there?" I questioned as I got into my fighting stance. Silence. I shivered as cold air breezed past me. I better get home, I thought to myself. I turned and took a few more steps until I heard a bush ruffle behind me. I began to sweat. I looked back again.
After searching the entire alley I finally spotted something strange. A pair of bright emerald green eyes were settled upon me as they stared through the leaves on the tree above me. "Who...What are you?" I asked, getting tense and ready to fight. After about a minute, which felt like forever, the green eyes, in which I've been staring back at, suddenly disappeared. I thought things were going to get worse so I decided to run. I hoped to make it home before things got worse.
