     "It's creepy in here," Silver said as he observed the walls around him. "Hmph, creepy or not, it's our job to check it out. For some reason, I have a feeling this is where Nazo is. This creepy place fits him well," Shadow said in response. Suddenly, a door slammed from behind them due to some wind. "Who's there!?" Silver shouted, holding up his fists. "They say this place is haunted," Shadow said plainly, continuing forward. Silver lifted a brow and continued following behind. "You don't believe that, do you?" Silver asked. Shadow stayed silent and opened a door that led into a huge room that had a blood red carpet, and brown wallpapered walls.     
     "Who knows what's true about this abandoned place. Honestly I don't really care what is true or not about it," Shadow answered. "I guess so. I just hope we leave soon. I don't think they're here and we've been searching for a long while now," Silver said, as he searched a closet nearby. "Stop complaining. I'll continue looking down here, you go check upstairs," Shadow commanded. Silver sighed and made his way upstairs.
     Five minutes had past and there was still no sign of Nazo nor (y/n). "Ugh, it's hot in here," Silver said, wiping sweat from his forehead. He seated himself on a bed and panted a bit. "Who's there?" Silver suddenly exclaimed, jumping at the sight of a black shadow. "Shadow?" Silver said, looking out into the hallway. Suddenly, a hand touched his shoulder. Silver jumped a bit.
   "Hmph, stop messing around, and don't tell me you're really scared of this place," Shadow said, crossing his arms. Silver sighed and looked towards the place he last saw the shadow head to. "I thought I saw something," Silver said with a serious face, but with nervously clenched fists. Shadow rolled his eyes until a shadow appeared in front of them, making him tense. "It's about time I've found you guys. This place is so big, I was afraid of getting lost myself. hehe," Sonic chuckled as he emerged from the darkness.
    "Hmph it's just the Faker," Shadow said, crossing his arms still. Sonic suddenly became irritated and sighed, before brushing the insult away. "Yo, Tails, Knuckles! I found them!" Sonic called out. Tails and Knuckles then came up the stairs to the group. "What are you doing here? Didn't you have a place to check out, too?" Shadow asked. Sonic nodded as he frowned. "Yes, but something else came up. We met up with Eggman and this is what we found out," Tails said.
     As Tails explained what had happened, Shadow and Silver became angered. "We must save her! We HAVE to find Nazo, NOW!" Shadow snapped. Everyone agreed. "Yes we know that, and the reason why we came to see you is to warn you about someone stealing Chaos Emeralds. So be careful before-" Sonic said, being cut off. "Before I take it," a voice said, finishing Sonic's statement.
     Everyone jumped as they looked towards the voice. Standing on a beam from the tall ceiling was Nazo, which was hiding in the shadows. "Nazo!" Sonic exclaimed, pointing a finger at Nazo. "Ah yes, always the first one to be saying my name since you know me SO well. Why don't you tell your friends who you know me as I REALLY am? Or are you too ashamed to say it?" Nazo said, giving Sonic a piercing glare as he looked down upon the group. Sonic clenched his teeth as his friends looked at him in question.
     "I'll be taking my leave now," Nazo said, appearing back to back with Shadow. Nazo held Shadow's green Chaos Emerald in hand as he grinned evilly. Shadow turned quickly, flinging Chaos Spears at Nazo. Nazo disappeared and reappeared, dodging every attack. "Shadow, cut it out! You're going to-," Sonic said, covering his head. Suddenly, the floor gave way due to the Chaos Spears weakening the floor in every direction. Everyone fell through the floor, falling into a large room with staircases.
     "What a dirty trick!" Knuckles grumbled, rubbing his head. "Hahaha! That's just to soften you up. Prepare to meet your demise! Don't even try to escape, I've set up a huge barrier around this place, making it impossible for you to leave," Nazo warned. Suddenly, huge Chaos Energy Blasts headed towards the group as Nazo aimed his hand at them. "You won't win, Nazo!" Sonic said, jumping upwards. Easily, Nazo punched Sonic to the right, sending him into a wall.
     "Argh!" Nazo groaned loudly as he was suddenly hit by Chaos Spears. "Chaos Control!" Shadow shouted, freezing Nazo in time. He reappeared above Nazo and stomped unto his head, sending him straight into the ground. Everyone cheered for Shadow as he smiled in victory. Suddenly, his smile vanished when Nazo reappeared after using his regenerating ability.
     "He can do that?" Silver asked in surprise. "That's right, you don't know what Nazo is fully capable of. He's extremely powerful. He almost destroyed the entire Earth last time," Tails responded. Silver nodded. "Then we'll see how I can handle him," Silver said, clenching a fist before charging after Nazo. "Silver, no! You don't know what he's capable of!" Sonic shouted to him.
     Ignoring Sonic, Silver raised his hands. "Ha! Mere kicks and punches do nothing to me! What could YOU possibly do to me?" Nazo laughed. "Everyone may underestimate me, but I'll show you! Hyaaaaaaah! Take THIS!" Silver shouted, lifting things from behind Nazo. Suddenly, Silver waved his hands, flinging objects from left to right. Then he waved his other hand, sending things right to left. Objects collided, smacking and crushing Nazo in the process. "Ugh! How is he doing that?" Nazo asked himself as he quickly rose to his feet.
     "Shadow, Sonic! Get ready," Silver said, looking at the two hedgehogs. They nodded and ran out of Nazo's vision range. Nazo growled and sent an energy blast at Silver. Catching it with his psychokinesis, he drifted the blast to the side, making it hit to the ground. Nazo growled. With a charge of speed, he flew towards Silver. "Now!" Silver called.
     Suddenly, Silver caught Nazo with his psychokinesis. "What? Why can't I move?" Nazo asked in surprise. "Ahh," he exclaimed after being hit by multiple Chaos Spears. Each one shredded throughout his body, creating multiple cuts and wounds. Just then, Sonic jumped up into the air and curled into a ball, smacking Nazo into the stomach. Silver let the hold on Nazo go, and created a Psychic Knife.
     "Agh!" Nazo exclaimed again. Seeing that the Psychic Knife was effective, Silver created dozens more and launched them at Nazo. "That's it!" Nazo growled, releasing a massive and large energy blast. Silver then created a Psychic Shield around him. The massive attack almost broke through but Silver forced the shield to hold.  After the blast, Silver noticed all of his friends were injured and lying on the ground. The walls were badly destroyed and smoke surrounded everyone. He clenched his fists. "No," he said to himself.
     "Hahaha! Now, say goodbye!" Nazo laughed evilly. Suddenly, he created and released one of his greater attacks. It had a wide range, and was incredibly powerful and fast. "No, not my friends, not the future. None of it should end like this," Silver said, shakingly, as he clenched his fists. The blast was approaching Silver fast but he stood his ground. "TAKE," Silver lifted his hands and emitted a cyan glow, "THIIIIS"!
     With all of his might and strength, Silver caught the blast that was five times larger than him with his psychokinesis. "Rrrrrr! Raaaaaah!" He exclaimed, throwing the blast at full speed in Nazo's direction. "What!?" Nazo questioned just before the powerful blast hit him. "Aaaaaaaaaaah!" he exclaimed greatly in pain. I must get out of here! I cannot survive well from my own attack, Nazo thought to himself.  He escaped with Chaos Control but was left extremely damaged. In order to leave, he disintegrated the barrier he had used to trap everyone in.
     Silver collapsed to his knees and breathed heavily. Suddenly, Silver felt two hands touch his shoulders. Sonic held him a thumbs up and Shadow smiled, impressed, saying, "Hmph, not bad". Silver smiled back, knowing he could help fight effectively against a great force of evil.
