* two weeks later *
Police officers still ask us to come by the station and ask us the same questions like we're gonna have a different answer each time they ask. I was watching Paige sleep remembering that night, if Diana didn't take the bullet she would be dead.
Tm: Trevor, you need some rest, you barely slept since that night
Trevor: * sigh * I'm fine mom, I just wanna make sure that she's ok
Tm: go get some rest and I'm not gonna tell you again
She said leaving out of the room. I got up from my current position and headed to my room to get some rest. She was right, I had bags under my eyes and I was actually really tired.
Chris's ( pov )
Every now and then I would go to Diana's house to check up on her and the boys. The twins and Diana are still shaken up on what happened. I wouldn't blame them because it was quite scary.
Diana: Its still scary because I'll never know if someone will pop up to finish what they wanted to do
Chris: it's over Diana no need to worry about it
Diana: * gets up from the couch * is it, is it really ?
Chris: I don't know, just try and forget it
Diana: thats what I've been doing for the past two weeks and every sound there is I jump. It's not easy to forget what happened
Chris: ba- Diana you'll be fine I promise
Diana: you're not one to keep your promises
Chris: * groans * I know that but I'm trying to make you feel comfortable
Diana: I'm sorry it's just that I - * gco*
Chris: it's okay you'll be fine
Luke: mommy Lucas is crying again
She got up and went to the twins room to check up on him. While she was comforting him I held Luke in my arms.
Luke: daddy is everything going to be okay
Chris: its gonna be okay don't worry
Luke: I know, I'm not scared because I'm a big boy
He got out of my arms and ran down to his room. I shook my head and laughed. He was weird really weird.
Diana: he's still scared, what do I do ?
Chris: * wraps arms around her * we just have to hope for the best
Diana: thanks Chris you've been very helpful * kisses his cheek *
Chris: no problem I'm always here if you need anything
Diana: I know * smiles *
