"BILL! LET ME OUT!" I scream. I try pounding on the blue orb, but it repels my fists the way magnets repel each other.
"Sorry, Carter, I have a deal to keep." Says Bill, who is back to his original triangular form.
"With whom?" I ask, dreading the answer.
"Gaea, of course!"
"What does she want from me? Why are my sister and her boyfriend on a quest with five other people? What's going on?!"
"Easy, kid, one question at a time."
"Give me answers. Now."
Bill rolls his eye. "She wants to awaken. In order to do that she needs to spill the blood of one male demigod and one female demigod. That would be you."
"Who's the guy?"
"You remember that kid you freed from the pool filter? Turns out he's a child of Apollo."
"What's his name?"
"Larry Perez."
I have to get out from Bill's grasp. I need to save Larry. I need a plan. Luckily, that's what children of Athena do best. Make plans.
"Where is Gaea, anyway?" I ask.
"Athens, Greece."
I suppress a gasp. How am I going to get to Greece? Well, as soon as I escape...
Speaking of which, it's time to make my escape.
I take a deep breath. I hope this works.
"Archaío daímona strofí pros pétra, epitrépste mou na epistrépsei sto spíti mou!"
My hands erupt in silvery flames. Bill becomes engulfed in them. Instantly, he is turned back to stone.
"Goodbye, Bill." I whisper, "Goodbye Gravity Falls."
And with that, I'm off to Greece.
