Since the Greek incantation worked to defeat Bill, I figure that maybe it can send me to Athens. It's a farfetched theory, but it's worth a shot.
"Me ti dýnami ton theón, steílte mou sti genéteira ton progónon mou!"
I am surrounded by a whirlwind of silver flames. When the flames subside, I am no longer in the woods. I'm in Athens.
And in the middle of a gathering for giants.
Larry is in a steel cage, shaking the bars. He looks utterly helpless and afraid.
He finally looks at me. His eyes widen in surprise.
"LOOK OUT!" He screams.
I leap out of the way just as a giant's club is about to smash my head open.
The giants are closing in on me. Truth be told, part of me wants to ditch this crazy mess. Part of me wants to leave Larry to Gaea and her giants.
But the other part puts me in his shoes. What if it was me in the cage? Would I be okay on my own? No. Not at all.
So I inhale deeply and break into a run towards the cage.
I slice at the bars repeatedly until there's a deep line across them. At this point, I can break the bars by kicking them.
As soon as Larry is free, I hand him my dagger. The giants have formed a tight circle around us. "Let's just get past some of the giants." I mutter to him.
He nods.
"One... Two..." I start.
"NOT SO FAST, YOUNG DEMIGODS." Says a sleepy female voice. I look around to see who said that, when the ground starts to rumble.
To our horror, a figure starts to form from the dirt. A woman. Her dress is made from plants and dirt, and so is the rest of her. It's Gaea.
"I MUST AWAKEN. LET ME SPILL YOUR BLOOD, AND I'LL SPARE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS."
"She's lying!" I tell Larry. "She needs them alive!"
A smaller giant tries to hit me with its club, but I grab it. The giant is killed with its own club.
"...Three!" I yell.
Larry and I are getting through giants left and right, blood everywhere. Eventually, we're in some sort of cave with an opening too small for a giant to get through. Larry gives me back my dagger, and I pocket it.
"Where are we going now?" Asks Larry.
"Well, I'm going to Oregon. But first, we need to get you to Camp Half-Blood.
"What was all that about? Were those giants real? Or that dirt lady?"
"You mean you don't know?"
"Know what?"
"Larry, you're a Half-Blood. You knew that, right?"
"What's a Half-Blood? I'm confused. I want a pop tart."
"Oh Gods. I'll explain on the way." I say. Now I know how Jeff felt when he was trying to get through to me. Teens can be so stubborn. Who knew?
"Mas párei me to móno méros ópou boroúme na eímaste asfaleís, misó stratópedo tou aímatos!" I chant.
The scene changes, and we're in front of Thalia's tree.
"Larry, I promise, you'll be safe here."
In seconds, I'm gone. And back in Gravity Falls. I guess I can't handle too much teleportation at once, because once again, I'm falling unconscious.
