There's a large ship flying in the sky. There's a huge bronze dragon head with glowing ruby eyes serving as the figurehead. Inside the boat, 7 teenagers including Percy and Annabeth are discussing something, but I can't hear what they're talking about.

There's a blonde guy with a scar on his lip, holding the hand of a really pretty girl with short, choppy brown hair and sparkly brown eyes. They both seem to be 16 or 17.

There's a buff Asian guy with short black military-style hair. His face is chubby and childish, which doesn't match his strong figure, also about 16 or 17. He's sitting next to a girl about my age, probably 13 or 14 years old. She has curly light brown hair and chocolate-brown skin, and these startling golden eyes.

And finally, there's a skinny Latino boy with curly brown hair and a mischievous-looking face. He has grease stains on his face, grimy brown mechanic's gloves on his hands, goggles on his head, and a tool belt around his waist. He's the only one sitting alone, and looking uncomfortable.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. My alarm clock. It was only a dream. I wipe a layer of cold sweat off my forehead in relief.

Wait... Why is there a washable marker on my bed?

I look at my left hand. Sure enough, there's red washable ink on my palm. It reads "THE DREAM WAS REAL. --Bill."

On my forearm, there's another message. "LOOK WHAT I DID TO YOUR OTHER HAND."

On my right palm, he traced the outline of my hand and drew a beak and eyes on my thumb. On the inside, he wrote, "LOOK! A TURKEY!"

On my dresser, there's a note. "Meet me in the woods. Same time, same place."

I roll my eyes and stomp off to the bathroom to scrub off the writing.

An hour later, we're at the Mystery Shack. To everyone's surprise (except Dipper's and mine), William isn't here. For the first time in weeks, we spend the entire day on the roof.

Later that night, I go into the woods to find William.

"Fancy seeing you here, Carter!" He says.

"What's going on, William?" I ask, unimpressed.

"This." He says smugly before encasing me in a blue orb of fire.
