When I wake up, I don't know how much time has passed. I rub my eyes. Then I nearly have a heart attack.
Jeff is standing on a big rock, smirking. Dipper is kneeling over a girl... ME. He's frantically trying to wake her/me up. I watch as he shakes her/my shoulders.
"Wake up! Please! Come on Izzy, WAKE UP!"
"I am awake." I say.
He turns to look at me. I get up... except that... I'm not me-- I'm Shmebulock.
He lunges at Jeff. He grabs him by the neck. Then he grabs me/Shmebulock.
"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY. BOTH OF YOU."
"What the Hades?" I say to Jeff. "What's going on?"
"You'll see, Shmebulock" Says Jeff, still smirking despite the large hand around his neck.
"Jeff, what did you do to Izzy?" Says Dipper in a sub zero tone. I've never seen him this mad before... It's kind of scary.
Jeff laughs. "This? This is revenge. Revenge for taking our queen."
"But... I thought you guys were over that. Especially after what we've been through."
"The war forced us to take desperate measures."
"That doesn't make it right for you to take my friend."
Dipper looks at me/Shmebulock. His eyes soften a bit.
"Shmebulock... is that you?" He asks.
I shake my head, since he can't understand me.
"Wait... That shag rug that made me and Mabel switch bodies... Did you make that potion out of it?" He asks Jeff.
"You finally connected the dots." He answers, rolling his eyes.
Dipper puts me on a rock next to my unconscious body (Shmebulock must really be enjoying his nap). He takes out his journal and says an incantation.
"Commutationem Corporum." He says. Exchange Bodies. I don't know how I know that, but I do. Instantly, I get dizzy and faint again.
When I come to, I'm back in my own body. Thank the Gods. Shmebulock wakes up, and runs into the bushes. Jeff runs after him screaming "This isn't over!"
"I'm glad that's over." Says Dipper.
My mouth is dry, so I just nod.
"Let's keep this incident to ourselves." Says Dipper.
I nod again, smiling slightly. This is an incident I would like to put in the past, like many others.
The sun starts to come up, and we go back to Pacifica.
When we arrive where we left her, she's sound asleep on my blanket, her earbuds still in place. I shake her awake, and we walk back to the mansion.
"Did you catch the culprit?" She asks groggily.
"No," I say, my voice scratchy. "It got away."
A/N: Hey guys! This may be the last time I update before I take a hiatus for the summer. Since I don't have WiFi in my house, I use the school computers to get on Wattpad. Maybe I can find a way to update, such as the public library or some schist, but I make no promises. Just hang in there, I swear I'll update whenever I can! I love you guys!!
