A/N: Alright guys. It's been exactly one year. A year ago today, March 7th 2016, Demigod Falls was first published. And now, a year later, it's coming to an end. I'll save the sap for the acknowledgements, and possibly the epilogue (coming out soon, btw, so please stick around for that). But today I'll be giving you guys the longest chapter-- 4,520 words. When you see this sign, (☆彡), play the media. Thank you guys so much for all the support. I cannot thank you guys enough, seriously. Now, on with the story...

“Today's the day,” says Pacifica anxiously as she spears some of her salad with her fork and shoves it in her mouth.
All this week, Preston and Priscilla have been reminding us that they're expecting some old friends and their daughter. The Thomas family will be staying with us for a month, due to the fact that Mr. Thomas and Uncle Preston are going to make a business deal of some sort.
“What's today?” Dipper asks. I turn my head away from Dipper and trace the green and orange of the floor tiles with my eyes so I don't have to look at him, but I can feel his gaze burning into the side of my head. I still haven't been able to bring myself to forgive him about last week's incident in California.
“My parents’ friends are coming today. Tomorrow we'll have to bring their daughter to school with us. Whoever she is, we should all be nice and make her feel welcome for however long she stays,” says Pacifica patiently.
Dipper nods, still watching me intently.
When school ends a few hours later, it's raining. Water drops bounce off the exterior of Pacifica's car. By the time we arrive home, we're soaked from head to toe, and that was only from our trips in and out of the car.
Aunt Priscilla grimaces when she catches a glimpse of us. “Go change,” she commands, “and wear something presentable!”
I march upstairs and into my room which I'll be sharing with the mystery girl due to the lack of extra rooms. I bring a finger to my chin and stare up at my closet, which consists of mostly band tees and large sweaters.
I select a red flannel shirt and jeans to pair with brown combat boots. Once I've fixed my hair and changed, I slide downstairs (much to the disapproval of my aunt and uncle) and wait.
Sitting in the living room with my caretakers is, to say the least, awkward. Having ADHD, I squirm in my seat at the stillness and silence. I bounce my right leg, drum my fingers against the arm of my chair, and glance around nervously until Pacifica arrives.
About a minute later, David the butler announces the arrival of the Thomases. We trot to the front door like a perfectly poised family, and the doors open to reveal a tall, thin, balding man with gray hair, blue eyes, and rectangle-framed glasses, a short woman with black bobbed hair and brown eyes... And Kimberly.
