About an hour later, we arrive in Gravity Falls. As we get off the bus, Mabel is still telling me about life in Piedmont, and Dipper is still reading his book.
"Augh! It was the butler? I never would have guessed that!" says Dipper, throwing his arms in the air in frustration.
"Told you" I say.
"Great. Now I have to wait another year to read the new book."
"Hey, it's not that bad. I've been waiting a month longer than you, and I haven't died... yet."
He laughs. "I don't think I could last that long"
"Well if it makes you feel any better, the movie comes out in the Fall" I say, taking out my notepad. "Friday, September 16th"
"I think I'll go watch the trailer repeatedly until the movie comes out." says Dipper.
"Oh no you don't!" says Mabel. "You promised you would help me and Waddles with our radio station, May May and the Hogg AM!"
"Oh, that's right! I'd forgotten. Okay, I'll do it, as long as you don't call me... that name I hate"
"What name?" I ask.
"He means 'Dippy Fresh'" says Mabel bluntly.
"MABEL!" whines Dipper. "You promised you would stop calling me that!"
"Heh heh! Oops!" says a smiling Mabel. "'Flip-a-dip-dip'"
"I'm gonna die of embarrassment" groans Dipper. "Goodbye cruel world!"
"Don't be so dramatic, Dipper" says Mabel, still laughing.
I suddenly remember I have to go to Pacifica's. I guess I was having so much fun with my new friends that I forgot.
"Augh! I totally forgot! I have to get to my cousin Pacifica's house!"
Dipper and Mabel froze.
"Pacifica!? As in Pacifica Northwest!?" shrieks Mabel.
"Uh... Yeah, do you know her?"
"SHE'S ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS!!!" screams Mabel. "She used to hate us but then we fought off tiny mini-golf creatures and I gave her a car taco and then we were suddenly friends and then there was a ghost in her mansion but Dipper got rid of it so then they were friends and now we're all friends and-"
"Okay, Mabel, I think Isabelle gets it." says Dipper, who seems to have gotten over the embarrassment.
"Isabelle, can I come to Pacifica's house with you?" asks Mabel.
"Of course! You can show me the way. I really don't know how to get there. Do you want to come, too, Dipper?"
"I think I'll pass. I want to go say hi to my Grunkle Stan and my Great Uncle Ford. They're back for the Summer from monster fighting, mystery solving, and investigating the supernatural. Plus, Waddles here looks a bit bus sick." he says, gesturing to a green-faced Waddles.
"Okay, Dipper! See you later!" calls Mabel, who's already started walking to Pacifica's house.
