You Can't Fall Asleep - Grayson

Short story

Y/N POV

You and Grayson had a seven hour movie marathon in his room one night. After finishing 'Pitch Perfect' he was really tired, so you both decided to go to sleep.

Grayson fell asleep with no problem, you heard him start snoring within a few minutes. You however had a really hard time managing to get tired. You tried to lay there for several minutes with your eyes closed, persuading yourself to fall asleep but nothing happened. You got out of bed and went to go get a warm cup of tea to help you get tired, you heard that having tea at night could make you relax. You drank it slowly, savoring the sweet taste. After you finished drinking it, you headed back to Grayson's room and laid down. You laid there for a few minutes before realizing that you were just as awake as you were 10 minutes ago.

You silently groaned in your head and pulled on your hair in frustration. Suddenly an idea came to your head. Maybe I'll get tired if I read.

You took out your nook and picked out a book. You read for about thirty minutes before your eyes started getting itchy. Yes! Maybe now I'll be able to sleep. You put your nook away and closed your eyes.

Nothing. Still nothing.

You turned onto your side, flipped onto your stomach, fluffed your pillow, added more blankets to warm you up, did everything possible to try to get yourself comfortable.

Next to you, you began to feel the bed move. You looked over and saw Grayson propped up on his elbows looking at you.

"Are you alright? You've been moving around for the past 10 minutes practically," he said in a raspy voice.

"Sorry that I woke you babe. I can't fall asleep."

Gray patted the spot right next to him and opened his arms. "Come here."

You moved right into his arms as he embraced you. Your back was to his chest, and he was really warm. His hand rubbed up and down your arm slowly warming you up. He whispered little sweet things into your ear making your heart melt.

You felt your eyes begin to close, suddenly becoming heavier and heavier. The last thing you remember was Grayson kissing your neck and saying,"Goodnight princess."
