Chapter 24

"You're what?" I shouted.
"Pregnant..." Sarah said quietly.
"Sarah... that's awesome! But when did it... you know... happen?" I asked cautiously.
"The night of the party. Brendon and I were both a little bit... well we weren't really aware of what was going on and it just happened." Sarah explained.
"Oh... well how long have you known for?" I questioned.
"About two weeks..." Sarah mumbled.
"And you didn't tell me? It's fine though. Do you know what gender it is?" I asked.
"No we're going to wait a little bit." Sarah said.
"I'm gonna be a big sister!" I squealed.
Brendon and Sarah smiled. I did my homework on the way home so that I wouldn't have to bother with it once I got there.

We got home and I flopped down on the couch. I had a text from Poppy.

P: Hey.

L: Hi Poppy. What's up?

P: Nothing much. Just finished my homework and I'm really bored.

L: Ah. Wanna come over?

P: Wait... Like come over to your house and hang out?

L: Yeah?... What else would it mean?...😂

P: I'M ON MY WAY!

L: Okay.

I got a text from her about five minutes later.

P: Just walked outside and began walking down my sidewalk... Until I realized that I needed directions.

L: Alright I'll send them. Hang on.

I sent the directions to our house to Poppy's phone. I had to laugh though. I've only known her for a day and I've already realized how clueless she can be.
"Dad!" I called downstairs.
"Yeah?" Brendon replied.
"Is it okay if a friend that I met today comes over for a bit?" I asked.
"Sure. Just don't cause any trouble!" Brendon joked.
"I can't make any promises!" I shot back.

About fifteen minutes later, I heard a knock on the door. I ran downstairs and opened it up.
"Hi Poppy!" I greeted.
"Hey Laur!" She replied.
I let her come in and she started fangirling.
"She this is where the Brendon Urie lives?" She whispered to me.
"Yes and Sarah." I whispered back.
As if it were on cue, Brendon and Sarah walked out of the kitchen together.
"Oh hey! Brendon, Sarah. This is Poppy. Poppy, this is Brendon and Sarah." I introduced.
Poppy was beaming at this point.
"Hi!" Poppy excitedly said.
"You a fan?" Sarah asked.
"Yes!" Poppy replied.
Brendon and Sarah smiled. She smiled back and hugged both of them. All of us were laughing at that point.
"Come on Poppy let's go upstairs." I said.
"Okay!" Poppy exclaimed.
She waved bye to Sarah and Brendon then followed me up the staircase.
"Sorry if this is offensive but did Sarah get chubbier since I've seen the photos of their engagement or?..." Poppy trailed off.
I chuckled.
"No... I just found out she was pregnant today so yeah." I replied.
"There's going to be another member of the Urie family?" She asked.
"Yes." I said calmly.
"Eeeeee!" She squealed.
"You can't tell anyone though. We're waiting for the right time. Okay?" I assured.
"My lips are sealed." Poppy confirmed.
There was a moment of silence before Poppy blurted out that she was hungry. We went downstairs to get some food and she couldn't stop fangirling.
"You better get used to it Pops. You're gonna be here often now that you're my best friend." I remarked.
"I know but this is my first time here. Let me have my fun okay?" She joked.
I made us each a snack wrap and we each picked out a bag of chips.
"Dad can we eat in my room?" I asked.
"Sure kiddo. If you make a mess though I'm not cleaning it up. That's all you." Brendon replied.
"Okay okay." I said laughing.
Poppy and I ran up the steps with our food and went into my bedroom to eat. It was really late by the time she left.

"Bye Poppy!" I called out the door.
"Bye Laur!" She yelled back.
I shut the door and flopped down on the couch. "She seems nice." Brendon said.
"She is." I replied.
"Just a question though. When are we planning on telling everyone about Sarah being pregnant?" I asked.
"Probably at the end of this month at our concert." Brendon informed me.
"Okay. I think I'm gonna go upstairs and get my pajamas on. I'll be back down." I said.
"Okay honey take your time." Sarah replied as I was walking up the stairs
I decided to brush my teeth and take my makeup off too. I threw my hair up in a messy bun and put my pajamas on. I looked at the time on my phone and noticed that I also had a bunch of Twitter notifications. I unlocked it and saw that the hashtag 'LaurelBVB' was trending. I saw some videos so I clicked on them. I heard music playing and it sounded really familiar. I pondered for a minute until it popped into my head. Oh shit. The song was leaked. I made a group chat with the guys and frantically began typing.

L: Guys we have an emergency. The song we recorded today was leaked and I don't know how. What should we do? What if someone hacked into our phones or something?

Ashley: I saw I don't know about the rest of the guys though.

Jake: we all have to figure this out together. How could this have happened?

L: i have no clue that's what I'm wondering.

CC: idk guys. We'll figure it out.

Andy: whoa whoa whoa... What? Okay. Emergency meeting tomorrow at the studio. We have to fix this.

Jinxx: Laurel can you come?

L: it depends on what time. I have school.

Andy: then afterwards. See you tomorrow guys.

I went downstairs and saw that Brendon and Sarah were watching a movie. I sat down beside them.
"Brendon can I go to the studio with Black Veil Brides tomorrow after school? We're having an emergency meeting." I explained.
"Emergency meeting for what?" Brendon asked.
"Our song was leaked that we recorded." I said.
Sarah gasped.
"That's terrible." She said.
"I know. Well am I allowed?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. I don't see why not." Brendon said.
"Okay great. Goodnight guys. Love you!" I responded.
"Love you too." They both said at the same time.
I went up into my bedroom and flopped down on my bed. I drifted off into sleep as I thought of what tomorrow would bring.
