Danny Phantom: Ghost Zone Field trip

Gee Whiz!

Chapter 14

Dash had shot the gun; ignoring the protest that Danny and many others were throwing at him but thankfully he missed. Danny stood up from the ground his eyes flashing green in anger as he glanced at the group and noticed that they weren't staring at Dash or at him but at someone else causing him to look at the direction they were staring at.

" Bully.."

It started off as a whisper making some people strain their necks in order to listen before it grew louder and soon it was belting out the name resulting into Dash shaking with fear.

"Bully!"

A green ectoblast suddenly shot out towards Dash making the once scared teenagers scream in terror but no one could be louder than the quarterback, that was for sure. His screams were mixed with hysterical crying which were thankfully soon cut off as the blonde was suddenly on the ground; the ectoblast was heard hitting something or rather someone that wasn't Dash.

"Danny!"

There Danny laid on the rocky path panting slightly; eyes shut as he felt the pain slowly subsiding. While a regular ectoblast wouldn't hurt him as much as it used to but when he recently had a stitched up wound it's going to cause at least some pain.

'Oh gee whiz! I just shot the future King! He's going to have my head!'

Danny felt two hands reach out from under his arms and immediately tensed up before recognizing them to belong to Tucker and Sam. However, they were both so focused on helping Danny that they failed to see Maddie and Jack pointing their weapons at the petrified ghost.

"Now listen here you ectoplasmic waste, what makes you think you could shoot my son?"

"He's not going to answer Jack, don't be ridiculous. Let's just shoot it and force it to give us information," A crazy look was shown upon Maddie's face, "maybe it knows something about Phantom." With that in mind she powered up her weapon only to be stopped short by a shout.

"Don't shoot!"

Maddie recognized it to be Danny's voice and immediately frowned, 'Stupid Ghost trying to stop me from shooting it's kind. If only I didn't have to play along I'd shoot the grey ghost and this whole place down, leaving him and Phantom for last.'

" And why shouldn't I shoot this...thing?" She said with disgust while raising an eyebrow; challenging him to disobey her. Danny only walked over and stood between the grey ghost and the two guns that were still lifted but now instead of pointing towards the grey ghost it pointed towards Danny.

'Here's your chance Maddie! Shoot them both! Do it now!'

"Because Sydney is my friend and I'm asking you to not shoot my friend. He would never hurt someone unless he is given the reason to."

Jack hesitated a bit before finally lowering his weapon; he didn't really trust this ghost but Danny does and he usually has good judgement in the type of friends he circles himself with.

Maddie only seemed to tighten her grip on her gun but she forced her hand to lower it. She had to play along if she wanted to get what she wants and she'll get it no matter what.

"Thank you." Danny told them sincerely before looking at Dash; his eyes flashing green momentarily before returning to their baby blue.

"As for you," he bent down and picked up the forgotten gun that Dash had used to shoot at Sydney and gripped it tightly; waving it slightly at Dash, "Do you have ANY idea what kind of damage you could have done with this?!" Danny belted out as he began to pace a bit; a clear sign to everyone that he was angry which surprised many since no one has ever seen him this angry.

Sam and Tucker, however, knew that Danny was holding back and that he was only doing this to slightly frighten their classmates just so they could let him do what he needs to do without any more incidents. Although, Tucker was actually upset that Dash had been able to grab his invention and mentally wished that he could say a few words himself but it looks like Danny has it under control.

"This simple gun could turn a ghost inside out so the other ghost can easily reach for its core and destroy him with a simple squeeze but if you leave the ghost like that for who knows how long they'll lose ectoplasm and practically bleed to death. This could have exterminated Sydney because of your stubbornness and now because of you we wasted time on this one spot."

Heaving a heavy sigh he turned towards Sydney; who was looking anywhere but at him before he turned to the group a tired look on his face, "Tucker and Sam will be leading you for a bit okay?"

"What?!"

He ignored the outbursts of his peers and continued, "You guys are to continue walking without stopping whatsoever, I'm going to deal with Sydney here by myself and I'll catch up when I can. Same instructions as before and please for all that is good in the universe listen to them; don't do stupid stuff."

'Oh golly! He's going to execute me here alone where no one can hear my yells!'

The ghost shook his head at the ridiculous thought.

'Calm down Sydney he's not like Pariah Dark, he won't kill you. He's not a bully.'

Everyone nodded and grabbed their stuff not wanting to make Danny angry again. Tucker and Sam made their way over to him to receive his instructions while the students got back in their designated spots, "Stay safe, okay? If anything happens contact me on the Fenton Phones, I'll try to be there as soon as possible."

Both friends only rolled their eyes at his overprotective side but felt touched and loved by his attention. Still, that didn't mean they couldn't tease him even just for a bit, "Yes mom."

"Hardee-Har-Har."

Stealing a quick kiss from Sam and doing his handshake with Tucker, Danny set them off. He hated acting horrible to people; even if those people deserved it and needed to get punched at least a couple of times,-he still hated it. He'll apologize later though, right now he has an ever so shaking ghost to deal with.

In this chapter we learn what the mighty Reverse Extractor does which is something I thought about. Your ideas are awesome it's amazing I never would have thought about those. Some of you guessed that the ghost was Sydney great job and also a good job to those who thought of other good examples. The reason I used Sydney was because it's usually Skulker or Walker that first appear and I wanted to use the ghost that aren't really mentioned in anything so here ya go.

Now about the Maddie thing; remember she thinks that Danny is being overshadowed which is why she calls him 'stupid ghost'. This is just a small reminder ^-^

Does anyone else like an angry and overprotective Danny? Because I do, I find it so adorable <3
