Chapter 17

Sam woke up to a crazy new headache making her shut her eyes close as quickly as possible.

‘What happened?’

After taking a few minutes to calm down a bit she opened them only to find herself in a green ecto bubble that was floating inside a jail cell.

‘Oh no..’  

She quickly began counting heads around the room and was mortified to find that someone's missing.

‘Danny...he took Danny.’

What had happened? The last thing she remembered was that they were all running.

Flashback

The group had been running non stop for the past hour yet, it felt like days to the poor tired teenagers; especially the lazy ones.

“A- are we going to s-stop anytime soon?”  Dash panted, sweat dripping down his red face. However, nobody answered the blonde sweating jock and focused on their running.

Although, their running had been cut short and though many were thankful ; thinking they finally had a break, they had finally realised the reason for their sudden stop.

There in front of Danny was a smirking ghost that was dressed in a white formal suit that had black pieces of clothing as well. He has a black fedora and his eyes were a toxic green like Phantom’s except these were filled with evil and malice instead of friendliness.

“I see that you brought a few friends with you Punk.”

Punk? Who was he talking to? Scared faces glanced around the group until they landed on a certain shirtless teenager up at the front.

“That's against the rules.”

“Walker,” Danny had said lowly almost as if he were whispering the name. He was in a battle stance, legs crouched and his hands were turned into fists, “let us go you know who I am.”

Walker only barked a laugh before he grabbed Danny by the neck; lifting the 17 year old teenager from the ground and brought him close to his face, making Danny scrunch up his nose in disgust at the smell of his breath but otherwise remained unnerved.

“I may know who you are but your little friends don't ,”

Almost as if on cue, Walker’s goons began to surround the group making sure there was no escape. Sam and Tucker quickly readied their weapons and scanned the area; eyes never leaving the crazy ghost’s henchmen.

“Which gives me a perfect chance to have you in my jail”

With that, the attack began where teenagers started screaming and those chosen to have weapons began shooting.

Danny quickly leaped into action, bringing his legs up close to his chest and gave a quick kick to Walker’s chest.

“ Hitting an officer and resisting arrest is against the rules. You just keep adding years to yourself punk.”

While Danny and Walker fought in hand to hand combat Sam and Tucker made sure to help those that needed help.

Mainly Paulina and Mikey.

Maddie was having the time of her life! This is what she needed, to relieve some stress against some filthy ecto scum. Although, if only she didn't have this darn handmade sling she would have defeated all of these ghost in a heartbeat.
