Chapter 31

It was silent as everyone took in this newfound information. That the boy they constantly belittle was the same hero they look up to were one and the same. And how ironic it was to them. They were constantly told that the nerd they would bully could one day be better than you, yet they didn't believe them.

Here's the physical bitter truth:

They were right.

And it was as if they were a part of the new show that had come out a year before. The one where a teenage girl was a loser by day but a pop-star by night.

“You-you’re Danny Phantom?!?”

Danny didn't respond with a yes or no, instead starting a whole new conversation. “You know,” he began as he stared at the gun in his hand, “I really hate the fact that I was put into this situation. I wanted to protect my family from all of this. Unfortunately,” looking up he gave them a smile that seemed too forced for their liking, “nothing ever goes my way.”

“W-who was that girl that was in the library with you?” Leslie questioned, taking one step forward in confidence, making Danny eye her warily but not moving away from his position.

“It was me,”Sam said an edge to her voice walking to Danny like a Queen would. Confident and pride radiating off of her. The rings, similarly to Danny, had come from her waist changing her to the ghost they had met a day before.

“I won't let Danny go through this alone. If he reveals himself then so do I, and there is one thing I won't let you do and that's make Danny feel like he's wrong because he isn't,” the echo in her voice made a couple of them shiver involuntarily but they silently agreed.

“So do we,”came three little voices before flashes of lights came once again until finally three kids were now floating around the two grown halfas.

Danielle sporting her traditional jumpsuit while David's jumpsuit was like hers, only with a belt decorating his waist. White hair adorning their heads much like their fathers and piercing toxic green eyes flashing in warning. Narrowed at any form of threat that could come to their family.

Victor, however, had dark crimson red, almost burgundy take place of his blonde hair. His clothing turning into a black denim hoodie with a grey shirt under, pants turning to black skinny jeans from their formal phase and black combat boots replacing his vans. Despite his dark change, his eyes were the only brightness coming from the young nine year old aside from his aura. Yellow replacing those beautiful hazel eyes, bright with innocence yet filled with determination.

Another minute passed before Tucked to his friends, “Uh,” he began warily staring at the three kids, “did I miss the birth of two other kids? And how in the world did they get powers?”

Danny had opened his mouth to talk to his friend when he was pushed aside and was faced to face with a very red Josh.

What did you do to her?” He whispered as he stared at Sam with concern in his eyes, receiving no answer he pushed Danny, the hero letting himself be pushed. “ What did you do to her?!” Josh yelled, his heart clenching finally looking at Danny with so much hate.

Danny glared at Josh, about to speak when a new voice spoke.

“Uh, excuse me, your highness?”

Danny turned himself around, body straightened into a prince like manner, “Yes Belen?”

The young ghost opened the door wider, “ Your father is here and would like to speak to you. Shall I let him through?”
