Orion's Pov. A month and a half later.
"So yeah, I've been working on trying to find Angel and-"
She screamed and put her hand on her stomach. I grabbed onto the computer.
"Arie, are you okay?" I asked. She took a deep breath and looked at the computer again.
"It's nothing," she waved her hand. I frowned at her.
"She's in labor Orion. She refuses to go to a hospital unless you're here," Holly said. Arie just pushed her from the screen.
"I'm not letting this baby out until you're here," she growled at me then shut the computer. I stood up and paced the room.
"She doesn't really have a choice," Lily murmured near the door.
"Looks like I'm going to France," I walked out the room to pack my bags,"I'm going alone so no one follows. Will's in charge. Keep looking for the hybrid. Call me if you need anything."
I walked out the door and drove to the airport. I bought a straight ticket to Paris. Seven hours. Arie's such a bitch. She knows she can't do this. This was set up to protect her. I was never suppose to go down there.
I was sitting on the plane when someone called me. Holly.
"I finally got her to the hospital. I had to drag her. Where are you?" She asked. I looked out the window.
"I am somewhere over Spain. I'll be there in an hour," I ran another hand through my hair.
"Alpha, she's being real serious about not letting this baby out," she murmured. I frowned. Really Arie.
"I'll be there in an hour," I hung up the phone and stared out the window.
In half an hour, the plane was landing and I had to pick up my bags. I got a rental car and drove to the hospital I knew was closet to her apartment.
"I'm looking for Arie Skye," I told the woman at the front desk. She looked up at me.
"There's no one here by that name," she murmured. I frowned when her eyes turned black. She was a wolf. A wolf protecting Arie. What have she gotten into these last nine months?
"Look, she's my fiancé and my Luna, I'm not going to miss-"
"He's with me," Holly said. The nurse nodded. I followed Holly back to the room. Arie was sitting in the bed watching tv when I got there.
"Orion," she smiled at me. I kept frowning. I put my bag down and went to hug her.
"You know you are such a bitch. I'm not supposed to be here to protect you," I pulled away and kissed her. She pulled away and held her stomach.
"You weren't going to miss your child's birth," she whispered. I nodded at her.
"So, how long have you been in labor?" I asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Ten hours," she shrugged and grabbed onto my arm when another contraction came.
"Alright, I'm here to check if she's dilated, if that's okay with you Alpha," he said. Arie grabbed onto my arm again. I nodded at him.
The doctor put on gloves and checked how dilated she was. He threw the gloves away when he was done.
"She's about five centimeters. Half way through. The nurse will come check your blood pressure in a few minutes," he nodded his head to me then left.
"I missed you a lot. I didn't think we'd see each other here. I want to go home," she murmured. I pushed sweaty hair from her face.
"I'm sorry. I haven't found Angel yet. I have to make sure you're safe," I completely lied to her. Anything that made her stay here.
