Arabella's Pov
"This is Jenna, Kenni, and Kenni's mate Mika," Holly introduced us. I just smiled,"this is our Luna. Her names Arabella."
"That's a pretty name Luna," Jenna said. I frowned.
"Don't call me Luna. He hasn't marked me," Orion growled at me but leaned against the back of the chair and stared at my frozen yogurt. He refused to get any.
"Kenni and Mika are married. Jenna's engaged. It's just you and I," Holly laughed. Orion grabbed my hand under the table.
"Actually," he put my hand on the table so they could see my ring,"she is engaged."
"That ring," Kenni covered her mouth.
"Costed a pretty penny," he murmured. I put my hand back under the table,"I have to take this."
He got out the chair and walked out the shop when his phone started ringing.
"Oh thank god," I can finally breathe my own air. It felt so good to breathe alone.
"Are you okay?" Jenna asked.
I nodded,"he's getting a little suffocating. I can't breathe my own air. I'm not allowed two feet away from him at all times. He acts like I'm going disappear."
"He acts like that because he hasn't marked you yet," Mika murmured looking down at his phone.
"Plus he can't lose another one," Jenna whispered then watched him out the window.
"He had another mate. Tell me about her. How'd she die?" I asked.
"She-"
"That's a story for your mate to tell you," Holly said. She knew what happened to her. Why wouldn't she tell me? What if I ended up like his dead mate? I got pretty close.
"Okay," I crossed my arms.
"I really wish this was real ice cream," Kenni said. She ate a spoonful of yogurt.
"You can't eat ice cream?" I asked. She laughed.
"Just a flaw of being pregnant," she shook her head. I frowned and watched Orion talk on the phone. He was arguing with someone.
I sat and listened to them talk the entire time. Angel was blabbing about something stupid in my ear that I really didn't care to listen to. Why couldn't he just tell me how his mate died? Would that have been too much?
"I have to go," I got out my chair before Holly could say something. I walked out the building to where Orion was arguing on the phone.
He looked up at me then put up his hand. Five minutes. Just give him five minutes. He didn't have five minutes, I wanted to know now.
"What happened to your other mate?" I asked. He dropped his phone on the floor.
"What?"
"What happened to her?" I whispered. He came to walk to me. I flinched away from him.
"Who told you I had another mate?" He asked. He put his hands in his pockets.
"Just answer me. Did you kill her?" I crossed my arms. He was frowning.
"No I didn't kill her," he sighed. I stared silent, waiting for an explanation," I hit her because I lost control and that was the last day I saw her. She packed up and walked out. That was the one day she never came back."
"You're an abuser," he closed his eyes and stared at the ground.
"Arie, we fought over you. When you're someone's mate, they know when you're deceiving them. I cheated on her with you. I've always loved you. I would never hurt you," he pulled me into his chest. I could see my tears cloud my vision.
