Orion's Pov

I was still sitting at my desk a week later when Arie pushed my door open. I didn't even look up at her.

"What happened in here?" She asked first. I still laid my head on the desk, staring at the wall.

"I don't know," I murmured. I closed my eyes for a second then opened them again.

"I'm sorry I'm dressing like this Orion. I'll try to stop. If you want me to dress in pretty dresses and heels, I will," she sat on the chair. I didn't even move.

"You don't have to," I closed my eyes again. She put her hand on my head, making me jump.

"Are you high?"

"No, I'm completely sober," I licked my lips,"I haven't been this sober since I was thirteen."

"Orion," she frowned at me.

"Can you get me more coffee?" I finally turned to look at her. She nodded at me.

She left the room for a few minutes. I laid my head down on the table and fell asleep when she was gone.

Orion's Pov. Age 15.

"Piece of shit," he kicked me in the ribs. I turned on my side, holding my stomach. I was already on the ground, what more was he going to do?

He lifted me up from the ground and pushed me into the wall. I hit my head, making stars pop behind my eyes.

"You're going to stop getting caught with drugs at school," he dropped me to the ground. I fell,"and learn to fight while you're at it."

"Yes sir."

"Call me Alpha," he kicked me in the ribs one more time before leaving the room. I laid on the floor in his office, bleeding and about to pass out.

I stared up at the ceiling when West walked into the room. He lifted me up on his shoulder and dragged me to my room. I laid on my bed, holding my chest.

West just stared down at me before leaving the room. I fell asleep.

I walked to school, covering my face with a baseball cap. My chest still hurt but I was high on something so I didn't really notice it.

"Orion," my teacher pulled the hat from over my head. He stared at my face, with widen eyes,"Orion, what happened?"

"I ran into a pole," I murmured. He kept staring at me.

"Orion-"

"I ran into a pole," I said louder. He handed my hat back to me and walked to the front of the classroom. I stared at Holly across the classroom before pulling my hat on my head.

I was sitting in the storage closet with Holly during lunch. I didn't want people staring at my face.

"Are you okay?" She asked. She put her hand on my face. I pulled away from her.

"I'm fine. He doesn't normally hit me in the face," I murmured, looking down at my uneaten sandwich

"He hits you?"

"I screwed up. He told me to stop getting caught, but I didn't," I shrugged. She just kept watching me.

"Orion, he's abusing you," I laughed and shook my head as I uncapped the needle. She watched me stick it in my arm.

"I disobeyed his orders," I leaned my head back on the wall and put the needle down.

"You need to be safer with that-"

"I'm shooting heroin Holly. Don't tell me about safeness. Leave it for science," I closed my eyes for a second.

"You can't let him keep doing this," she whispered. I took a water bottle from my bag and drunk it. She frowned at me and took the bottle, smelling inside it.
