Chapter 26: Change?

Orion's Pov

"I don't want you to go," Arie was frowning at me. I kissed her making her laugh.

"I have to go to training. I'll be back in two weeks," I ruffled her hair then picked up Autumn. She looked like she was on the verge of tears.

If she cried, I think I was going to cry.

"I hate how they won't let you have any phones," she crossed her arms. I kissed Autumns forehead and put her on the floor.

"I know, I do too," I leaned on the ground in front of Autumn,"you're in charge princess. You think you can take care of your mommy while I'm gone."

"Yes daddy," I kissed her again then stood up. Arie kept frowning.

"I'll be back Arie," I put my bag on my shoulder.

"Bye Orion," she kissed me then picked up Autumn and walked to the door.

They watched me get into my car and pull out the pack house. I had to go train with the King and his other candidates for two weeks. This was going to be a very long week. Especially without Arie.

Arabella's Pov.

"So princess, you're in charge. Should we eat ice cream for lunch?" Will asked picking Autumn up. I put my hands on my hip.

"Yes," she gave that cheeky smile.

"We're not eating that for lunch," I said, following him to the kitchen.

"The princess has spoken," he went to take the ice cream from the fridge.

"Okay Autumn, how about ice cream for dessert and yogurt for lunch?" I asked. She thought about it before nodding.

"Okay mommy."

"Good, now it's nap time," I took her from Will's arms and went to walk up the stairs. I put her in the bed and stared at her.

I hated putting her to sleep. She stopped breathing when she slept but she has to take her nap or she gets grumpy. I hated that choice.

"Orion told you she'd be okay. She'll be okay," Lily put her hand on her stomach. I walked out the room and closed the door.

"How far are you?" I asked, walking back to the kitchen. I poured myself a drink and stared into it.

"I'm two months. I have about two weeks left," she murmured. I nodded.

"You know what you're having?" I drunk the glass then poured myself a glass of wine. She just stared at the glass.

"Another girl," she sat at the chair in front of me,"are you okay Arie?"

I laughed a little bit,"only Orion calls me that."

"Sorry," she looked down at the table.

"It's fine."

"Can I tell you the story of how I knew he was cheating on me with you?" She asked. I stared into my glass then nodded,"I picked up his phone. He didn't have a password. He never does. He thinks it's suspicious to have passwords. Anyways, I went through his pictures and it was you everywhere. Your face everywhere on his phone. He had more pictures of you than he had of me. He even had a sex tape of you together. I didn't really care. I never told him I saw it. I guess he assumed."

"I didn't know he had a video," I shook my head. She smirked at me then stood up.

"You're very flexible," I shook my head at her as she walked out the kitchen.

Why was it that she had some type of new respect for me all of a sudden? Did Orion say something to her? Was it being away for two years that had her like that?
