Orion's Pov
I still sat on my desk a week later. Arie tried to talk to me. I didn't say anything to her. Holly tried to say something. I growled at her. They even sent Autumn in. She cried when I ignored her. I didn't try to ignore her, it just happened.
"Orion," she whispered. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. When did she get in the room?
"I was abused as a kid. That's why I turned to drugs. I used heroin and weed a lot. Davidson used to hit me. I thought it was because I always screwed up," I lifted my head to look at her. She was crying,"I used to aim a gun at his head until he caught me. I started aiming a gun at my own head then. I could never pull the trigger."
She just kept staring at me. I sat up and patted to my lap. She got off the chair and walked to me. She sat on my lap and hugged me.
"You need to lay off the burritos," I murmured. She laughed and leaned her head back on my shoulder.
"I'm glad you're talking to me," she kissed me. I smiled at her.
"I'm sorry I wasn't talking. I was just having a bunch of memories all at once," I ran a hand through my hair.
"Dinner is in twenty minutes," she murmured before getting up. I smiled at her as she walked out the room.
Orion's Pov. Age 17.
"Your shot needs to be on point," Davidson said. I shot at the target again. I missed inches from the targets heart.
He slapped me in the face when I missed. I growled and pointed the gun again.
"If you're going to kill someone, your shot needs to be on point," he pointed to the target again. I missed over and over again only to get hit over and over again.
I think I was missing on purpose. I missed again. He went to hit me when I grabbed his arm and squeezed.
"Hit me one more time and I'll kill you," I growled. He stared into my eyes and pulled his arm from my grip.
"Shoot at the target," he pointed to it. I pulled the trigger. Perfect shot. Straight in the heart.
I put the gun down and walked out the door. West didn't say anything when I walked pass him. I walked to the kitchen. They were making dinner. I stared at them then made two cups of drink. I took a small vial from my pocket and poured some in the drink.
"Here, let's just drop what happened," I took it to Davidson. He stared into the cup and drunk it.
He nodded at me before walking away. I stared at his back as he was walking away.
Orion's Pov. Present day.
I stood up and walked out the door. Holly was standing in the hallway when I got there. She wasn't starting to gain weight. I couldn't really tell that she was pregnant yet. Arie didn't really gain any weight until the eighth month. I never knew why.
"You smell. Maybe you need a shower," she said. I ran a hand through my hair.
"You remember when I used to do heroin and I walked to school all beat up?" I asked her. She stared at me.
"Yeah, I remember."
"I'm about to go out-"
"Jamie's here," she said,"get in the shower and hurry up."
I got in the shower in my room and got dressed. Jamie was sitting at the kitchen table. She wore some black dress that showed a lot of skin.
"Orion," she turned to look at me. I smiled at her.
