Arabella's Pov
I woke up without Orion beside me. In his place was a letter.
Hey, I didn't want to wake you because I left pretty early. I'll talk to you when I get there in a few hours. I love you. Tell Autumn I love her too. I'll be back in a week. Have a good time in the silver pack.
I put the letter down and got out the bed. I started to pack my clothes then went with Autumn to pack her things. I called Parker.
"Hey, is it okay if I come over this week?" I asked.
"Of course it is honey," she hung up the phone. I finished packing and moved the suitcases to the car with Holly just watching me.
"I can't believe you're doing this," she shook her head at me.
"I can't wrap my head around what I'm supposed to do. The last time I told him, he sent me to Paris. I want to stay here. I'm going to stay here," I leaned against the door of the car. Autumn was asleep in her car seat.
"Are you going to have an abortion?"
"No, I'm just... Let me get through just a few months. Just until I know I won't have a miscarriage," I put my hand on my flat stomach. Holly just kept staring at me.
"Orion's going to kill me," she walked up the porch.
I got in the car and drove to the silver pack. It took me two hours to get there. It was different from our pack. People were walking around. They were laughing and talking. I've only seen people work in Orion's pack. I wanted to change that.
"Bella," Parker stood in front of the door. I smiled at her and parked the car,"Jack, help her with her bags."
I took Autumn out her car seat and took her from the car. Parker just smiled at her.
"She is so adorable," she said. Autumn was still asleep on my arm.
"Thank you," I murmured. I followed Parker into the pack house.
"I'll lead you to her room and then we'll talk," I nodded and followed her up the stairs.
I put Autumn in the bed to sleep. I put her inhaler beside her and hooked up her asthma pump. I stuck the mask on her face.
"She has bad asthma. She also has sleep apnea. She stops breathing in her sleep," I pulled the mask from her face when there was no more steam.
"Okay," Parker waited for me to leave the room and close the door.
I followed her down to the kitchen.
"You hungry?" She asked, digging through the fridge.
"No, I'm good," I murmured. She took a container of sour cream out the fridge and dipped carrots in them. That's a weird combination,"sorry. Pregnant people have weird cravings."
"It's okay, I get it," I smiled at her. She looked down at the sour cream.
"Tell me why you're keeping it from him," she said.
I frowned before answering,"when I was pregnant with Autumn, he sent me to Paris for two years."
"Why?"
"He was trying to protect me from his brother. His brother tried to kill me. He spent the first year trying to track down his brother. Someone else started coming after him after that. He was forced to bring me home because he swore to me that he'll bring me on Autumns second birthday," I ran my hand through my hair,"I don't want to leave here. I need to stay here. I have to stay."
