Friday

NIALL HORAN POV

"It's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday!" I sang to myself as I brushed my teeth. I made my way downstairs, walking fast, faces pass and I'm homebound- wait. That is so not right. The sound of music drew me to the kitchen. Wow. The Sound of Music. I'm all full of musical things today. The music playing reminded me of Ireland. Lizz was laying on the floor playing the banjo along with the music coming from, I assumed, her iPod. Theo the cat was laying at her elbow.

Her eyes were closed. I smiled. I didn't know she played the banjo. This song was pretty epic, too. I laughed in happiness. I laid down next to Lizz and closed my eyes too.

"What are you guys doing?" Louis asked in a slow voice. I opened one eye and glared at him with it. Lizz stopped playing, reached out, and yanked Louis to the ground by his hand. Then she continued to play.

This happened two more times with Zayn and Liam. Harry walked into the kithen last. He groaned and rubbed his eyes. "What in the world. Niall. When did you learn to play banjo?" He asked, sticking his head in the fridge, pulling out a gallon of milk and tossing it on the counter.

"It isn't me, mate," I said from amongst the company of the laying down-ers. Harry froze, then turned around. Lizz got up and carefully stepped around us. She walked to Harry, and turned so their backs were touching and she was leaning back on him. She then finished the song very dramatically, and we all stood and applauded fiercely.

LIZZ MAYBERRY POV

Once I finished the song, I put the banjo away. I hadn't played in so long. I went over to my iPod and stopped the song I was playing along to.

"What song was that? Reminds me of the homeland," Niall said dramatically while wiping a fake tear from his eye.

"Build Your Kingdom Here by the Rend Collective Expierment. It is such a cool song. It's a church song, but I would still like it if it didn't even have words."

"Yeah it was so cool. Great beat!" Louis agreed.

"And they're from Northern Ireland! So that is why it reminded you of home," I said happily.

"I didn't know you played banjo," Harry whined, still looking surprised and maybe a bit hurt.

"Well if you would take that perhaps permanent look of shock off your face. I will explain." He neutralized his facial expressions. I addressed the group as a whole. "I," I started dramatically, "am a woman of mystery. And there is much that you have not learned about me, young grasshoppers."

"That is for sure," I heard Liam mumble. I was the only one who heard him. I locked stares with him, mine questioning. Something flashed in his eyes and I'm sure my face went pale. Well. More pale than normal. He nodded at me curtly, closing his eyes for a second, and inconspicuously 'zipped' his lips shut and threw away the invisible key, nodding once more. This confirmed my most dreaded thought.

Liam knew.

Wait let's make that a little more dramatic. All caps? No. Too pushy. Swearing? No. Not my style. Foreign? Absoloutely.

Liam sabe.

NIALL HORAN POV

Some freaky jujumagumbo was going on between Liam and Lizz. However, my job is pretty much to stay out of it, and, more importantly, keep Harry out of it.

"I think we should go out for breakfast!" I exclaimed. I grabbed Lizz's keys and threw them at her face.

"Hey! Watch the stitches!" Harry shouted at me, going all protective like I knew he would.
