LIZZ MAYBERRY POV
The boys and I put away the groceries that needed to be refridgerated right away and organized the shower line-up. I had two showers in my house. Niall and Liam would go first, then Zayn and Louis, then Harry and I last.
"Be gone!" I commanded Niall and Liam. They went to take their showers and the Zayn and Louis went to go get their clothes ready because they were second.
"Help me put the rest if the groceries away?" I asked Harry. He nodded and grabbed my iPod, filling the kitchen with the music from the playlist he had titled "Harry's Best Music Ever." The first song was My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson.
"K Clarks! Sing it girl!" Harry shouted as the singing began. "Because we belong together, now, yeah!" He sang exceptionally loud and badly. I joined in.
"You got a piece of me! And honestly! My life would suck without you!" We sang as I ran and jumped into his arms.
She spun me around and pretended to drop me a few times. Harry is how Harry do. I don't know if that made sense. I cackled as he lost his balance from spinning and almost fell over. I jumped out of his arms, fearful of getting dropped for real.
I opened the doors to the pantry cabinet and Harry tossed me each item that belonged in there. I would catch it, put it away, then get ready to catch the next one.
Harry started to get all fancy; tossing things begins his back, not looking when he threw, or flinging things to me through his legs. It was only a matter of time before something broke.
When he threw a mason jar full of almonds at me, it slipped through my fingers just as I was supposed to catch it. It happened so quickly, neither of us had time to say anything before the glass shattered all over my bare feet.
I closed my eyes tightly as I felt little cuts form all over the tops of my feet and toes. I bit my lip so as to not cry out. "You were supposed to catch that," Harry pointed out bluntly. I looked at him as my eyes watered up. Where he was standing, he could only see to my waist. He ran to his right to see where the glass shattered, with my poor little feet under it.
He eyes opened wide as mine watered up more. "Get the cat," I croaked out, pointing to Theo, who was running at me with full force. I didn't want him to cut his paws. I'll be okay as long as I don't move my feet. I'll be okay. I'll be okay. But it HURTS. Just don't move your feet.
It just had to be the last item, too, didn't it. So close to getting through all the groceries without injury. Harry looked to Theo and scooped him up expertly as he almost ran past. Harry opened the book case door to the basement, put Theo in, and coaxed him to stay put long enough for him to close the door.
I stared at my feet in a mild amount of shock. Would these cuts mess up my tattoo of the Olympic rings on the top of my right foot? The red slices look like I got attacked by a cat. Theo would never to that to me. Theodor is too good of a cat.
"Are you with me, Lizz?" He asked. I nodded, not trusting my voice. I hate it when I cry. It's one of the few times I actually feel embarrassed. I should have been stronger, less butterfinger-y. Better. "When I count to three, I want you to jump on me." I nodded and twisted my torso towards him. "One. Two. Three." I jumped.
I wraped my legs around his waist as he took a step back to get away from any flying glass. I wraped my arms around his neck and pressed my face into the top of his shoulder in a poor attempt to keep the tears from pouring over.
"Does it hurt?" He asked me. I just tried to concentrate on his voice. I nodded.
"It stings," I whispered. He held me tighter and walked to the kitchen counter. He sat my butt down on it and I released my hold on him.
