A flash of lightning occurred from nearby. It's thunderous sounds angered and deafening through each snap. (Name) and her fellow allies, tired from their journeys, soon came to a stop as they arrive to a safer zone; a peaceful and tranquil province; and settled down in the simple precinct with a calm attitude.

- Dana xxxx, Author of the kingdom of Meraghyl.

The conversation between Arthur and Alfred quickly eased itself down and adjourned as I approached them calmly.

Their eyes, questioning and curious, soon focused on me. Silence quickly spread throughout the secluded area, nearly affected the things living around it. The soothing wind, the swaying trees, and even the bees that passed by in ease to receive nectar from a flower.

"Greetings, love. How was your rest?" Arthur inquired, particularly to me. The word "love" was certainly something I wasn't used to hearing. As it slipped through his voice I felt myself fluster in embarrassment.

"I-it was okay," Was my honest reply for what seemed like moments after his inquirement. "The concerns of this journey to the neighboring kingdom seemed to weigh upon me, obvious enough, to say, but otherwise my slumber was a normality that everyone would expect."

"That's good to hear." Alfred grinned widely at my response before patting Arthur's back. "I'm going to go find some timber for our fire tonight."

"Alright, stay safe." Arthur told him.

"I will," Alfred called to us as he separated from the conversation.

My eyes averted from Alfred and went back to speaking with Arthur.

"What types of magic do you withhold?" I blinked in curiosity as he hummed in thought.

He mused calmly, his eyes shining with mere amusement to my curious gaze and stared out towards the trees.

"Black magic is my main one. I use it for...specific reasons. Reasons you have no necessity to ask about, love. There is also a magic that I barely use nowadays. I call it, Healius Magika. Although the majority of people would address it to Healing."

"May I ask another question?"

"Of course. Ask me anything." And by then he gave me a polite, gentlemanly smile.

"How did you and Alfred meet?"

He blinked, obviously taken aback of my sudden question. With moments of supposedly awkward silence, he soon replied in a hushed tone.

"Well, Alfred and I met each other on the same marketplace you went to recently. He was rather the joyful and energetic Alfred you're familiar of today. Seeing him now gives me that feeling of nostalgia, you see, for he didn't change the slightest out of all these years."

He continued, "We talked, greeted each other, the formal introductions... He told me that he was a roaming orphan, which explained his dirtied rags and unclean hair during that time."
