This is short - I'm so sorry.

-

I wasn't sure what to do next on the following day. The snow was worsening, and so was Arthur's condition. I had fortunately set forth to a more lively discussion about Felik's pink pony and how I suggested for him to add a red ribbon as a decor for the animal, and he had gratefully complied. We shared a smile that day.

"And so I was like, 'Wow, Sadik, you're such an S. to the snake.' because he totally beat her thick and thin!"

"Two-faced snake she was," I agreed calmly, casually snatching Felik's tea cup and took a sip of his beverage. We were honestly used to sharing cups nowadays, most likely because we end up having the laziness to just sit there and use up what we had in front of us.

"Strawberry water?"

"Yeah, cool right? I totally love how the mixed color of strawberry and water complemented the strawberry over here."

"Haha, I guess."

"Now give me back my cup, that's like, my favorite one!"

"Let me take another sip, will you? Haha!"

Back and forth, we exchanged sips from that one cup and ended up as a giggling mess. At some point Feliks had to call out for another beverage because I was drinking too much of what he had and now he was running out.

"So what do you think about my country?"

"Isn't it somewhat combined with the Ottomana Kingdom?"

Feliks grinned sheepishly, "That's what made this kingdom look large, so yeah."

"Well, despite the size, the shape, or the form, I still find it beautiful. Don't worry about it. But why would you ask?"

"Fellsworth. I'm sure they're planning some cruel scheme about all this. How long have you been running away?"

"Long enough for the seasons to change."

"Oh, that's saddening to hear."

"It isn't all that bad. We were about to run out of food, but I'm very grateful that we made it here before that occurrence happened."

"I see."

A long silence had calmly erupted against the chilly air, with the two of us drinking down our beverages, happily complimenting the taste. I nervously fiddled the hem of my dress, taking in the thought of war and how I was to execute Luciano in some way. It was no doubt that he wasn't alone in this. He has friends, allies, his own army, and has left me to see my loved ones dying.

Feliks and I had changed the subject once more, discussing about the weather and how change had affected us throughout the years. He said, "Oh, it makes more alive and free. It's like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon or something like that."

"I've grown more paranoid and childish." was all I said, being blunt about it. Feliks shook his head, taking a sigh.

"Babe, you're just stressed. Take a breather. And in my opinion, and by the way you should totally take this as a compliment, you haven't changed. You're still beautiful and hardworking, and you still have that feisty nature that I admire."

"....thank you."

"No problem! Insecurities are tough, but you just have to learn to fight back."

"Like throwing bricks and challenging them to a duel?"

"It doesn't need to be physically, haha."

I grinned. "So it's still optional?"

"Really?"

From this point, letting all my childishness get the best of me, I had visioned a pillar with the word 'Insecurities' imprinted upon it. And then I approach that very pillar and punch it down with all my might from a single blow. Creativity, originality, simplicity....whatever you call it. I didn't know why, but I felt quite proud of that thought.

"Hey, Feliks?"

"What's shaking?"

"What would you say if I asked you to try some tea?"

"I would, like, love anything you suggest, (Name), so I'll totally try it out!"

-

"If you end up reaching the end of a simple, hanging rope, with no sign of hope, don't hesitate to tie a knot and don't dare yourself to let go."

-

This story is starting to get less and less lighthearted. My job of making this humorous is dying down. (┳Д┳)
