"Occasionally I visit here from time to time," said Lily as she passed by an empty-looking room. "I'm not so sure about you, but I really like playing pretend tea time. I play whenever I can every afternoon, at 3 o'clock sharp."

I looked over to her older brother.

"Do you play with her?" I asked timidly, managing to break into a smile in the thought of the two doing such an action. He looked very serious and firm, but I know that deep down, he had a soft spot for his little sister. I could honestly see it from the way he acts.

"Yes," he replied with a glance my way. "she's precious to me. Don't you dare hurt her, you hear?"

I don't trust any of you just yet either. I never trust strangers that quickly from the start, after all.

"Oh, (Name)!" I heard Lily chirp. "I almost forgot. It was quite the coincidence for you to stumble upon here. In fact, it's rather very nice to have newcomers participating at this time."

"What do you mean?"

"It sounds like that line could be made into a song," I mentally mused to myself before shaking the thought off.

"Today's the time of eve when we all gather around the table and say our thanks. It's my second favorite holiday before Christmas!" she said ecstatically. Then she calmed down, in a smooth transition and smiled a bit wider. "It's nice to have a couple more people to participate in saying their thanks."

It has been 2 months, hasn't it?

I remember those moments passing by so quickly, I didn't keep track of the date and the time - nor did I realize how far I've walked.

Walked away from home.

"Well," I started enthusiastically. "I'm rather thankful to meeting such kind people. Having a roof over my head in the meanwhile. It's surprising I was able to meet such good people who let strangers into their homes, and for me, it felt too good to be true."

"This is normal," Lily whispered, her smile growing more gentle and understanding.

I saw Vash looking away from us and towards a flower pot. Those flowers...they felt very nostalgic.

"(Name)! Let's go play!" Lily beamed in delight, taking me by the sleeve and led me into the room. It was actually filled with the usual commoner's furniture - I suppose that my eyes couldn't locate the items when I looked at it from first glance. Expectedly, it had the usual wardrobe here, and a painting there...the window had its light shine through, revealing dust particles that floated around and didn't seem to bug anyone.

Vash followed after us, his stoic look ever changing.

Both of us sat on a small bed at the corner of the room as she fumbled upon her treasures located across from us. It was hidden in the wardrobe, it seems, and as I inspected to grasp a closer look, she was searching in through a chest.
