"You have a beautiful voice."

"I'm not forgiving you."

Sadik sighed, looking mildly frustrated - to my amusement.

"I'll tell you what: If I leave you alone for at least ten seconds, will you forgive me?"

"No! What kind of deal is that?"

Quite the despicable man. Asking for forgiveness to a thing he has been threatened to be at fault upon. And then pleading his sins to be removed using the most preposterous suggestions. And then annoying me. And then wanting me to punch him.

"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't know it was a diary, much less yours. It was hidden between the stacks and stacks of books you brought with you, I assumed it was just one of them!"

"I can't believe I'll be staying here for a week, with you."

Honestly, I wasn't all that angry with him. The book he read wasn't actually my diary, it was a novel I was writing in a person's perspective. About a girl who was close to my age, settling down in a peaceful precinct but had determined a harsh life of abuse and rape. I was planning on giving out the morality where it went as, "Women are strong. Their fighting spirits are yet to be awoken. They're capable of doing many things, like how men can do. Worship equality."

Despite my lack of knowledge to abuse and rape, I had acknowledged the past experiences from victims back at my castle. Before, I was blinded. Before, I didn't actually know so clearly of what they really went through. All I said was, "I'm sorry for what you've gone through," filled with sympathy, and I didn't actually see through their eyes that quickly - quick enough to realize that they're more than in pain of their past.

-

If you are a victim of abuse or rape, stay strong. You're not alone, you should know that - be one of those people who were strong enough to survive.

-

So my simple little novel was dedicated to all the victims, to say, 'You're not alone, so stay strong'. I wish to publish my book someday. Fortunately, I'm almost done with it.

Sadik handed me the so-called diary that laid on the table besides him.

"I-I don't know what to say, really.... I'm sorry for...um...what you've been through. If I knew you better, I would have tried to save you. Like a hero saving the damsel. But, uh, you're strong. Y-you don't need a savior, it seems. Good job."

Immediately, I laughed, "Thank you. I'll tell (Character Name) that."

"Wait, you mean...?"

"She isn't me. This is just a story. A world where words and plotlines are entangled and knitted together to create an ongoing animation upon one's head."

"Oh, I see."

And honestly, as I said those words against the tip of my tongue, I couldn't help but feel aware of something. But really, I just shook it off. What is there to really be aware about?

"But still. You have a beautiful voice. It'll surely go well if you read aloud."

"Oh shush. I may have forgiven you, but it might not be genuine."

"Well, princess, there are also chances that you are genuine..."

"Tch. You remind me of Alfred."

"Who now?"

"He's my guard."

The thought of differentiating Alfred and Sadik was odd. Was there even a point? I didn't bring myself to bother thinking about it, so why compare them anyways?

Sadik did hesitate for a few seconds, as if he wanted to sink in the newly found information. Then he laughed. "Oh really now? So where's your knight in shining armor then?"

"I...don't know, honestly. He's been distancing himself away nowadays, so hearing the mentioning of his existence, I'm starting to grow concerned. Do you....probably have an idea of what's wrong? You're both guys, and..."

"That's a horrible reason to ask why he's changing." he interuppted, chuckling gently and, once again, ruffled my hair.

"Do you have a hair fetish or something?"

"No, it's just cute seeing you fuming."

"And here I am, seeing the obvious proof that you've never seen another girl before. Cute? Really?"

"Did this Alfred ever seen you as cute too? Or is it just me? Because what I'm saying is definitely true!"

"Quit teasing me...." I mumbled, meekly. "It's irrational."

"It's not irrational!"

"Is too!"

"As science states, people assume that you're 20% more attractive than you consider yourself to be."

"Well, I like to think that I'm negative 20% in the attractive meter."

"You're quite cruel to yourself."

"Why thank you."

"But I think that you're 20% attractive."

"And the rest?"

"The 80% is saying that you're perfect."

"You're very friendly and bold."

Sadik grinned.

"I thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you, princess."

-

"Nothing is perfect. So that is why pencils have erasers."
