~ Third Person POV ~

It had been a long day, (Y/n) and Eric were headed back to the bar after their daily activities, they used to always hang out together as friends, but now, they did it as a couple. (Y/n) had her arm hooked around Eric's and was talking to him about the most random topics on the trek back.

He enjoyed that though, the quirky little perks that made her was the reason he fell in love with (Y/n) in the first place.

The sun had begun setting a while ago, casting a hue of colors over the sky, it was something to admire, for who knows what could happen before the next sunset.

The streetlights came on as they turned onto the street that the bar was on. With a quick greeting to the others, the two hurried up to bed, they were both tired from their day out and decided it would be best to sleep right away, plus they were eager to curl up in each other's arms, but that wasn't mentioned in fear of embarrassment.

But that's just what they did.

"Goodnight." Eric mumbled, breathing in the scent of his lovely girlfriend's hair.

"Goodnight." She replied, cuddling into his chest.

"I... I love you." He whispered, feeling his face flush into a crimson red.

(Y/n) giggled softly, "I love you too."

And with that, they both fell asleep; unaware of the startling situation they would find themselves in in the morning.

...

"Eric!"

"Come on sleepyhead, wake up!"

A young cheerful voice woke him from his peaceful slumber. With a lazy blink, he opened his eyes slowly, and although his vision was still hazy, he could make out (Y/n)'s lovely figure. He smiled softly, pulling her closer to him.

"Good morning, darling."

For some reason, she began fighting against his grip. Pushing on his chest and groaning.

"Darling? What're you calling me that for, weirdo!" She huffed. Eric furrowed his eyebrows in confusion; he removed his hands from around her torso and rubbed his eyes.

"Why does her voice sound so pitchy?" He thought curiously He looked up at her again, this time, seeing clearly.

And what he saw made him sit up abruptly and scoot away in alarm. He slipped off the bed, and landed on the floor with a thud.

The little girl peered over the edge of the mattress, laughing at the sight beneath her.

It was indeed (Y/n), although... she was a kid.

The sweater she slept in last night was now far too big for her, the sleeves hanging off her arms as she swung them around playfully.

"Y-you, w-what." was all Eric could manage to choke out.

"You what? I'm me!" She laughed, jumping off the bed and heading for the door.

"Say I'm hungry, wanna make me some breakfast?"

Eric watched after her as she pulled open the bedroom door and wandered out into the hallway. Soon enough he could hear startled voices from the bar below and the flustered yelling of the red's vanguard. It made him jump up, throwing on his nearest hoodie and flying through the door.

"What is going on? How did this happen!" He thought.

He bounded down the stairs and skidded to a stop in the large bar area, where everyone's attention landed on him.
