~ Yata's POV ~

(A/N): Don't read this if you don't like boy x boy.

I didn't really mean to make it like this, but it kind of just happened and I like it so... heh. ^~^

"We're going where?" I stood at the entrance of the bar in disbelief, I had barely gotten through the front doors when (Y/n) basically tackled me and told me the "exciting" news.

It was mid December; Christmas was just around the corner again. Snow coated everything it could reach, from the outdoor windowsills and roofs to the tops of the lampposts lining the streets.

It was actually snowing right now, it was almost dark out too.

"We're going on vacation!" (Y/n) cheered, skipping around the bar.

"B-but, how... Wait, no scratch that, why?" I stuttered, leaving my skateboard near the door and walking over to Kusanagi-san who was behind the bar, with an annoying smirk on his face.

"It's Christmas, and everybody wanted to go." He shrugged carelessly.

"Plus it's a nice warm beach, I would take that over this snow any day." Chitose hummed in delight.

"It's because of the girls, isn't it?" Dewa deadpanned. Not even bothering to glance at his friend.

"Duh."

I felt my cheeks heat up at their conversation, but I rolled my eyes nonetheless. I sat down beside them and sighed.

"I guess it could be fun."

"Of course it will be" (Y/n) said with a grin, popping up from behind me and leaning on the counter.

"Where are we even going anyways?"

"Yeah! All I know is that we're going to a beach." Bando chimed in from the other side of the room.

"Will there be food?" Rikio asked.

Kusanagi sighed and picked up a wine glass, beginning to polish it with a cloth.

"We're going to Hawaii."

"HAWAII!" A loud chorus of voices shouted.

"I'll be packing." Shohei shouted, instantly heading for the stairs.

"I want to hold baby turtles!" Kosuke called, wrapping his arms loosely around Eric's neck.

"That's Mexico, not Hawaii." (Y/n) mumbled, sitting down on a barstool.

"Aww." Kosuke pouted. Eric patted his arm gently, trying to comfort him.

"It seems everyone is excited for something." I sighed, grabbing a bottle of water from behind the counter and taking a sip.

My gaze landed on (Y/n) who was watching everyone with an elated expression.

"What about you?" I asked.

"What am I excited for?"

"Yeah."

"Spending Christmas in a nice place with my family of course." She smiled lightly, the glint in her eyes softening.

I couldn't help but smile back, she always looked at the sweeter side of things, no matter what the situation was.

In a way, she was like Tatara.

With that one thought, my mood completely changed.

I felt my eyes drop; connecting with the wooden flooring, my heart suddenly felt heavy and my mind was blank.
