~ Third Person POV ~
It was a tranquil day at HOMRA's bar. The members were freely lounging about, making conversation among themselves, creating new games or helping Mikoto get information on other clans activities. You never know when something could happen; it was best to have the upper hand, especially for them.
~ Rikio, Yata & Tatara ~
"No no no, you're doing it all wrong. First you go BAM! And then you flip it." Yata explained to the light haired brunette, who was standing beside the skateboard, feeling a bit hopeless.
"That probably makes sense to you, but I have no idea what you just said." He replied, chuckling.
"Here let me show you." Yata said, picking up the board. He then proceeded to perform the said trick flawlessly, leaving the two spectators in awe.
"I guess it's just not for me." Tatara said, smiling awkwardly.
"Yeah, I don't know how you do it Yata-san." Rikio said, sighing tiredly, but grinning nonetheless.
"It's just what I'm good at." The chestnut-haired boy replied, giving the others thumbs up as a playful smirk toyed with his facial features.
"Hey, you guys want to go check out that new park with me?" Rikio asked, stuffing his hands in his pockets and heading towards the door.
"Sure, why not."
"Can I bring my camera?"
They waved at the other clansmen as they headed out,
"See ya later Kusanagi-san!"
"Okay, bye guys." Izumo waved back as the decorative door closed, causing the little bell to sound.
~ Izumo, Mikoto & Anna ~
The king furrowed his eyebrows in frustration, staring fiercely at the papers in front of him that were filled with new knowledge of the colored clans. Anna sat close by, watching her marbles spin around aimlessly in a small circle. Izumo sighed while he polished every glass on the wooden shelves; making sure not a speck of dust or dirt was to be found, for that could displease his customers.
"Forget this." Mikoto muttered, tossing the papers down onto the counter and pulling a cigarette from his pocket; placing it between his lips. He reached into his jacket to pull out a lighter, but Izumo already held a burning flame towards him. Mikoto chuckled and leaned forward, letting izumo light the cigar.
"Too much work for you?" the blonde teased, placing the lighter back into his jean pockets and picking up the cloth again. The king closed his eyes as he took a drag and sighed as he released the smoke.
"Sure." Was all he said, letting his fiery amber eyes catch Izumo's through the light haze.
"The king rests while his loyal subjects work, a little tedious, don't you think?"
"That's what you're supposed to do when you're king." Mikoto mumbled, leaning back in his chair and watching the small pillar of smoke rise into the air.
"You care for us though." A young voice spoke up. The other two glanced at Anna. She stared at them through her large crimson eyes.
"You're a good king, Mikoto."
Izumo began laughing, "You know, she's right, despite your lazy attitude about work, we really couldn't have asked for a better king." He pulled out a cigarette of his own and snapped his fingers, lighting the end with a spark of the red flames.
