(A/N): Have I used this picture before? I feel like I have... but it's such a nice picture so whatever :p

FYI: let's say you're about 17, you're just cute & tiny like Anna. I'm also going to add a violence warning. This one got a bit graphic, it's not too bad, but just thought I'd let ya'll know.

Happy reading (:

~ Reader's POV ~

"If I were you, I would start talking."

"No."

"Eh? Listen kid-"

"I'm 17."

"...Whatever. Look, if you don't say something we're gonna have to start hurting you."

"Try it."

I relished in the look of horrified surprise that broke out across the rebel's features. I smirked, tilting my head slightly.

"P-pardon?"

"I said try it. I'm a member of the Red clan, and they aren't going to be happy with you."

My little body was securely tied to a chair in the middle of a dimly lit room; my wide-brimmed black fedora had been pulled off, revealing my fluffy, pointy-tipped ears and my honey-colored eyes. My burgundy puffy dress had been dirtied in the scuffle that got me here and I had bruises littering my face, legs and arms. There was a specific cut on my forehead that was still leaking blood; it had managed to run into my eye, blurring my vision.

I looked down, my eyebrows furrowing and my fists clenching.

This group of rebels managed to get their hands on me while I was walking around by myself. I wanted to get some supplies for Tatara's new "hobby"; I wanted to do something kind for him, I always loved seeing him smile.

Yata warned me not to go, or that he would come with me... but I didn't listen.

I should have though.

Because now I'm here, and these people want information about Homra and they're willing to hurt me to get it.

And if they don't who knows what will happen to me.

I wasn't scared, but at the same time, I was terrified... I wanted to shift forms so I could run and they would never catch me.

But I couldn't move,

And that terrified me.

I wanted my family.

Flashback ~

I clutched the paper bag tightly, inside were different spices, a pack of meat, some vegetables and other cooking ingredients. Tatara had recently taken up cooking as a hobby, and was complaining about how Homra's kitchen never had any good supplies. So, being the sweet, little clansmen – and best friend – I was, I decided to head out and get what I could for him, despite him being a beginner, his food was amazing and I wanted to see what he could do with it if he had the right materials.

Yata had scolded me, saying he would go too, but I knew he had some "business" to take care of regarding Scepter 4, so I told him I would be fine.

As far as I was concerned, nobody knew I was a member of the red clan and therefore had no reason to come after me. To most, I just looked like a young girl thanks to my size and attire. It made it much easier to blend in considering I looked nothing like who I actually was.

But I was wrong, so very wrong.

I stood at one end of a crosswalk, watching the advertisements for different items flash across the large screens of downtown Shizume. My little hands were clasped at the front of the bag tightly, and my gaze travelled around from person to person. It was a beautiful autumn day, the sun was gleaming through thin clouds and the cool wind whipped at my hair lightly. I took the brim of my hat and held it down, grinning faintly up at the sky.
