Soon enough, we had landed back in LA, and had begun our venture back to our household of 4 friends who had been waiting patiently for our arrival home. We felt good-and agreed that we both felt refreshed and well rested, despite the long flight.
"Just tell me-you must want something" Luke asked again, pulling the car swiftly onto the drive way
I shook my head again, Luke had been questioning me on possible Christmas presents for days now.
"I've told you-I don't want anything, being with you is enough" I smiled sweetly, him grinning lightly at my comment as I unbuckled my seatbelt
"Well I'm going to buy my girlfriend a present, thankyou very much, I just need a iddy biddy bit of guidance" he said
"But I have no guidance to give to you" I giggled
He looked my way with a serious expression
"Apple please just tell m-" Luke began another beg, however was interrupted by our cheering housemates who had piled out from the house to our parked vehicle, Michael had pulled open Luke's door and was practically sitting on the boy, whilst Georgie Ashton and Calum were by my side, already overloading me with questions about the trip, and sweet comments about how much they had missed us.
I giggled at the sight, Answering my housemates as I (with some help from the boys) pulled our suitcases towards the LA house. I missed this place more than I had originally thought, and although Sydney was my real home, I had no problem with saying this was my close second.

After a light catch up with the whole household, and the boys being thoroughly impressed and jealous by myself and Luke getting to go to the Good Charlotte gig in Sydney, I gazed around the kitchen, taking note of its plain interior
"It's nearly Christmas!" I reminded the household, who stared back blankly at the random comment "look around this place-it's so boring, i think we could do with some Christmas decoration" I explained
"Spread the spirit?" Michael beamed
"Exactly" I giggled
"Yes!" Georgia cheered excitedly "hey, we could even have our own Christmas Day!"
I let out an excited gasp as she continued
"Exactly one week today will be our fake household family Christmas"
Calum giggled at our childishness, but Ashton Michael and Luke seemed genuinely intrigued
"Yes!" I agreed "we can have a big tree, and crackers and a big Christmas roast!"
"And presents!" Michael chirped
Our household giggled and waves of conversation began, us starting to plan the big day in our imaginations.
"Ok-this is happening-Me, Luke, Georgie and Michael will head out to get some decorations, Ashton and Calum you need to go find a Christmas tree" I bossed
"A real one! So it smells of christmas!" Luke ordered
"Right now? You two just got back!" Ashton asked with a giggle
"Yes right now!" Myself and Luke spoke in sync
Calum and Ashton nodded at eachother with ready expressions printed on their faces, and with them looking the strongest members of the group, I knew they'd do a good job at the task.
"You need to remember baubles, stockings, tinsel-" Calum began, pointing his finger at Mikey who cut him off
"We will!"
