'***Amelia's POV***

I let my head fall back on to the floor as the rain began to pour onto me stinging my wounds and making me feel as if I was bleeding for the whole of mankind. I grabbed the side of my head, in a hopeless attempt to stop the blood. I heard footsteps, but could not muster enough strength to sit up and figure out from which direction they were coming from. I guessed it was Jack. I thought he was the one that I phoned as I was running, but with every thought I felt a sharp pain in my head. I watched as the rain fell onto the floor next to me, but suddenly the clarity of the scene was decreasing.

My eyes went blurry. The last thing I saw was a figure standing by my feet talking on a phone. Another figure rushed to my side, kneeling down and placing my hand in his. Just his touch comforted me, his hand was warm whereas I was freezing, my teeth clashing together non stop. As my eyes shut his frantic shouts got louder. "Amelia, Amelia! WAKE UP! PLEASE NO!", then they were more cries into the silence surrounding us, sobs, as he picked up my tired and limp body and cradled me in his arms.

***Jacks POV***

I felt someone tapping onto my shoulder. "Jack, Jack. Come on buddy, wake up" I looked up and saw Finn standing behind me. He forced himself to smile at me reassuringly. "Jack, i'll sit here, you can leave. Go home, have a break. You can't do this to yourself"

"Finn. I'm not leaving her side. If it wasn't for me she wouldn't have been in this situation, I should have insisted and walked her home, to make sure she was safe. I don't know what happened, but I know that even if I go home, if I sleep, i'll never have a break. I could sleep for a week, but until she opens her eyes and tells me she's okay I could never rest."

"Well I think you should, i'll stay with her if you want to. But if you're sure you don't i'll go and get you some food."

"Thanks Finn."

"No problem, if you need anything just call me."

He walked out of the door and left me staring desperately at Amelia - the girl who I had only started talking to two days ago, yet despite not knowing it at the time, had fallen hopelessly in love with her. Everything about her was beautiful. Her long hair cascading past her shoulders, her gentle green eyes, that would turn into a deep green emerald when she was laughing.

Finn interrupted my thoughts, sitting on the chair next to me and handing me a packet of crisps.

Jack.

"Amelia! Finn did you hear that?" I asked Finn looking at him, then looking back at Amelia and holding her hand, staring at her hopefully. Nothing.

Finn patted my back, "Jack, no-one said anything. You really need to get some sleep, she'll be okay don't worry." The only thing I could think of was how much I wanted her to be okay. Amelia, please be okay, please.

I will, don't worry.        It sounded like Amelia but she had her eyes shut, the only sign of movement was her chest moving up and down every two seconds as she breathed.

Amelia, if you were here you'd be laughing at me right now. I'm going crazy.

You're not going crazy Jack. Neither am I.
