The inner critic speaks and tells us all what's wrong with us
Then, we fight it off while not making a fuss
But it's so hard to fight our inner critic because we've lived with it for so long
But fighting our inner critic will help us come out stronger than strong
It's our inner critic that might be the problem of it all
Our anxieties may be caused by something that makes us feel small
So, inner critic, listen to me now:
When I really need you, I'll reach out to you somehow
But, if I don't, then please don't come a knockin
We don't need you to make us feel like rocking
