The Inner Critic [Completed]

Updating...

This is the new me
The new me that's been updated, see?
No longer am I the old me that causes so much trouble
I am all fixed and no longer require fixing on the double

So, go back to your work, because I am okay
I no longer need to be updated anymore today
But there is always another day... tomorrow
One that will either fill you with happiness... or sorrow

So, enjoy the updated version of me while I last
Because the old me is in the past
And the new me... ya never know
So, just enjoy me while I'm being fixed for tomorrow

And when tomorrow comes, I'll need updating again
Even though we don't know the answer, we still are going to ask: when?
When will I stop updating and be perfect the way I am?
Who knows the answer to that? I don't know, ma'am

So, I'll just keep updating until that day arrives
Until then, I hope you enjoy my many lives
And I'll, God willing, update until I am perfect the way I am
And then, you'll have your answer, ma'am
