In a world full of "I's"

I'm in a world full of I's
And that doesn't help my ego
Because how will I know who I am if there are too many I's around?
Do you know?

                          
It's like I'm in a pot full of "I's"
And there's not another letter
How will I know which one is me?
Will the answer make me feel better?

                          
I'd like to be me, but the original and not the copy
So, please take out the other I's so I can be me
There can be other I's, but I just don't want them in the same pot
Because I'd get claustrophobic and I wouldn't be able to see

                          
Also, because I can't be an original when there are so many I's
So, I don't mean to push you guys away
But I want to be me too
You have a right to stay, just not near me today and/or any day
