The Inner Critic [Completed]

Time is slow

The last time I was me was not even a second ago
Time runs very slow
But the last time I felt like me was more then five years ago
Time runs slow

But does time actually run?
How does time get the job done?
By walking? No. By running? No
Time is slow

Once you think about it, time is just a figment of our imagination
It can even cause frustration
That's why we say it runs, because, otherwise, it'd be too slow
Time is... slow

But, back to the topic at hand
I want you all to understand
My predicament is not the sweetest
Nor is it the neatest

But since time is slow, I can take my time
And I'll finish, and finally feel like myself, in my prime
But that's not what I want to do
Even if time is slow, I'll enjoy the view
