When I say hello, would you say hi?
Or would you just look at me with an irritated sigh?
As life goes by in the blink of an eye
I do wonder if you'll say hi
But then, I remember, I could do the same
After all, I'm not looking for fame
If I were, I would expect you to say hi to me and not the opposite
So, if you see me, and you don't say hi, I'll say it to you and see if we're, as friends, a good fit
