Under all that skin

Under all that skin
Is who you are within
So, when people criticize you for what you look like
Tell them to go take a hike
It isn't nice to criticize and be criticized about what you look like outside of who you are
Because you'll surely gain a scar
And not a scar that people can see
Otherwise, they'd stop criticizing completely

Just remember: your skin isn't who you are inside
What's inside usually hides
Because people are people and they see what they want to see
They don't see the world like you do, so please let them be

This message is for all who are being criticized about their looks
This message is for all who are being captured by hooks
The hooks of your looks, is what I mean
It can capture you by your genes
If someone in your family has problems with their looks, so might you
Although it is sad, it is also very true
Be careful of the hooks of your looks; it never brings happiness to your door
Be careful of how much you let in, and how much you give out, because it won't be pretty for sure
