Will you save me from drowning, God forbid?

                                              If I'm drowning, God forbid
Will you help me out of it?
Or will you just let me drown?
That'll cause me to frown
So, the question now is:
Will you do something to make my drowning your business? 
I hope so
Because, if not, I'll know
I'll haunt you till your dying day
Even though I won't be a real, physical ghost, per sé
I'll still haunt you in your mind
It's not the best place to be helped out of a bind
Therapy might help, but I doubt it will
Because therapists can't really help what you end up thinking of, still
So, will you save me from drowning, God forbid?
Or will you let me drown in the water just to get rid of me and put this story under a lid?
