Starting over

Chapter 31

After Harry leaves, I call zayn and I tell him what happened.

"Niall won't be too happy about that." He says after I tell him the whole story.

"I know. And it breaks my heart. But I just don't like him like that. He is the sweetest but I don't know. I just have the same feeling I do when I look at Harry." I say.

"And that's how you have to choose between them. If you don't then you won't be happy." He says and I give a sigh of relief.

"I am still mad at Tess though." I say.

"She didn't mean what she said. I just talked to Josh and he said she came home crying and went straight to her room." He tells me and I frown. I didn't mean to upset her but she did say some harsh things.

"I will call her now. This whole thing has stressed me out! It is hurting too many people." I say.

"I know. But it happens and you can't control it." He says and I smile.

"Thanks zayn. You are such a good friend." I say and he laughs.

"About that. Becca." He pauses. "I am in love with you." I say and I almost drop the phone. "Just kidding!"

"Zayn! Don't do that to me!" I say and he laughs.

"Too soon?" He says laughing.

"Yeah just a little!" I laugh. "You almost gave me a heart attack."

"Sorry about that. Go make it better with Tess." He says and we say good bye then I hang up.

I call Tess and she finally answers. "Hey." She says and I tell her how sorry I am. "I am sorry too."

"Do you want to come over and hang out?" I ask her.

"Sure. We should hang out with the boys today. Tomorrow they are going on tour." I gasp.

"I totally forgot they have to go on tour again." I say and she sighs.

"We should go out to a restaurant. A fancy one. I can come over and we can get ready together." She says and I nod.

"Ok. I will text the boys to meet us at that restaurant downtown. Come over right away. The door will be open. I am going to take a shower."

"I have a key remember." She says giggling.

"Oh right! Come over fast!" I say and hang up. I get my stuff ready to take a shower. I shave my legs and make sure they are hairless. Once I get out I brush my hair out and put an oil that makes my hair soft and shiny. Once I am out of the shower, I walk into my bedroom to see Tess sitting on my bed trying to figure out which dress to wear.

"The black one." I say as I walk into my closet. She nods.

"Little black dress." She says smiling.

"Yeah. You are from a song." I laugh as I pick out my top five dresses.

"Try them all on!" She says.

"My hair is wet!" I say and she grabs the blow drier and sits me down in a chair. She blows my hair out so it is wavy.

"Not anymore!" She says and she makes me try on all five dresses. We decide on my dark red dress. We do each other's hair and makeup. Then we drive to the restaurant. The boys are already there and they don't seem to be very happy. We sit down and order our drinks.

"You boys don't seem happy." I say, frowning.

Zayn shoots me a look. "Something happened." He says and I look at Harry.

"What happened?" I ask him and he doesn't answer me.

"We had a little fight before we came here." Liam says looking at Niall and Harry.

I look at Niall and Harry and they don't meet my gaze. "Niall?" I ask him and he caves in.

"Zayn told me what you said and I was mad. Harry came back and was mad that I told you. And well we....." He says and my mouth drops.

"I can't believe you guys. Both of you. If you guys are going to fight about me then I won't be with either of you." I say and they both look shocked.

"We were just both mad. It's ok. It won't happen again." Harry says and I give him a look.

"It better not. I don't want to be the reason you too hate each other." I say as the waitress brings out our drinks. She tries to flirt with the boys but they don't even entertain her. Tess and I give her dirty looks.

"So you guys are going on tour." I say.

"Yeah." Louis says sadly.

"How long is it?" Tess asks them.

"Six or seven months or so. But there is a three week break somewhere in the middle." Josh tells her. The waitress takes our orders for our food and brings out salad.

"What are you girls going to do while we are on tour?" Liam asks Tess and I.

"Wait for you guys to get back." Tess says and I laugh a little.

"That's it?" Niall says.

"I mean what else are we going to do?" I ask him and he doesn't say anything.

"We should try and find jobs. Like at American Apparel so we can get discounts!" Tess says and I smile.

"Good idea!" I laugh. I nibble on my salad while the others start to talk about other things. Our food comes and we get quiet while we eat.

"Before we go." Harry says. "We wanted to tell you girls something." I look at Harry and he smiles at me.

"We want to take you girls on tour with us." Josh says looking at Tess. I almost squeal and kiss Harry. Niall looks like he is in pain. I flinch when I look at him.

"You are our fashion assistants." Liam says and Tess and I look at each other and laugh.

"We had to think of some way to have you come with us." Louis says. "And that's the best we could come up with."

"So you can help make us look fabulous." Zayn says and I can't stop smiling.

"You guys are the best!" I say and they all smile.

"Well we have to have our girls." Liam says.

"Hopefully we don't make you guys look like dorks." Tess says and they pretend to look scared.

"What are the fans going to say?" I ask them.

"I don't care. They will just have to live with it because I wouldn't want anyone else to tour with us." Harry says kissing me again.

"That's enough!" Louis says covering his eyes.

"Let's go home and watch a movie." Zayn says. "Your house?" He says looking at me and I nod.

"I have to pack!" I say and they laugh.

"Pack a couple days worth of clothes. We will buy the rest while we tour." Niall says and I am shocked.

"I don't have enough money to buy new clothes." I say.

"Well you are getting paid to make us look nice so you should." Liam says.

"We are getting paid?!" I say, eyes wide.

"Yeah. Of course. And I will buy you some clothes too." Harry says. I smile as hug him tightly.

"This is the best thing that ever happened to me." I say tearing up.

"Don't cry love." Zayn says hugging me.

"I'm not trying to." I say as one tear escapes. They laugh which makes me laugh too. We drive to my house and Harry helps me pack while they pick the movie out. I bring all my favorite clothes and shoes. Then we go lay on the couch and watch the movie.
